Why are we not getting a lead card on the final round in ma4?

Krissie Fountain    June 7 at 1:20am

Lost two at Bad Rock today. Glow bobcat on hole 2 (shot straight right off the left pole probably in the water) and a blue Longhorn on hole 6 for tomorrow’s layout (not sure if the same for Thursday?) somewhere on left side of the fairway… maybe across the path. Both have my initials and numbers. Thanks!

Michael Krueger   June 7 at 3:41am

We will get them to you if they are found! Hole 6 tomorrow is the one surrounded by the walking path...

Michael Krueger   June 7 at 3:45am

It's the same as Sunday for your pool

Krissie Fountain   June 7 at 4:52am

No clue why I said Thursday lol definitely meant Sunday. Thank you!

Dean Jones    June 7 at 12:22am

Just to be sure, C pool is playing BRC Friday then WW Saturday? What are the tee times for C pool Friday?

Michael Krueger   June 7 at 12:44am

Correct. C AND

Michael Krueger   June 7 at 12:44am

C AND D play WW and BRC Saturday

Dean Jones   June 7 at 1:06am

Thank you for clarifying

Michael Krueger    June 6 at 2:44pm

Per a Smithville local - lunch can be had at Smithville Lake, and they'll help with parking fees.

Between the Buoys, Woodhenge hole 1 docks.

What will the tee time order be for B pool? Which divisions first, last, etc. ? Thanks

Dallas Wrinkle   June 6 at 2:17am

Looks like they just got posted

Michael Krueger   June 6 at 4:58am

Dallas is correct.

Michael Krueger    June 5 at 5:58pm

Pools C&D will play Water Works on Saturday. Details to follow.

Jerry Mason   June 5 at 8:51pm

Thanks Michael!

Charles Waldrop   June 6 at 8:28pm

PDGA app has me D pool at bad rock not water works Saturday

Michael Krueger   June 6 at 10:24pm

Bad Rock Saturday morning, WW Saturday afternoon for D pool.

Travis Trober    June 5 at 1:12pm

So B pool is tee times Fri and Sunday at liberty at 2 rounds at smithville Saturday?

Michael Krueger   June 5 at 2:03pm

Correct

Travis Trober   June 5 at 2:35pm

Thanks

Wyatt Orender    June 4 at 8:21pm

Just curious what the other course C and D pools are playing Saturday? I saw that A and B are playing Bad Rock twice instead of Water Works but didn’t see anything confirmed for C and D.

Michael Krueger   June 4 at 8:34pm

The final call (per the request of KCMO parks) will be made tomorrow at lunch. 80% chance C&D pool will be combined to play BRC 2 rounds on Saturday. The pools are small enough that it's not an issue, I just want (selfishly) for WW to be part of the event.

Charles Waldrop   June 6 at 8:30pm

Ok I’m on board now. Darn I wanted water works too

Michael Krueger   June 6 at 10:24pm

You get both.

Peter Bures    June 3 at 1:12am

When will OB be painted at either course?

Michael Krueger   June 5 at 3:09am

Woodhenge - hazard painted and flagged on holes 9, 10, 11, 15 and 17. Woodhenge structure OB painted and flagged. I'm not painting roads, paths, water. Did a little branch trimming on 3. I think Woodhenge is done.

Michael Krueger   June 5 at 3:13am

Bad Rock Creek - I'm not painting paths, roads or water. You all can make calls. OB painted on most holes. Need to finish painting 14 (tree line), 16 tall grass, original 17 tall grass, and 18 tall grass. It'll be done tomorrow. Mando signs going up on 3 (people keep stealing them) and 14.

Michael Krueger   June 5 at 3:18am

Friday - all pins ha e baskets. Saturday pins have baskets. Sunday, A Pool doesn't have baskets for pin positions on holes 2, 7, 9, 12, 18. Sunday B doesn't have baskets for pin positions on holes 12, 13, 18. Still need to pull some baskets to get them out of the way (not being used during the tournament but the city wants us to have them in the current location for non tournament players).

Mychael Washam    June 2 at 10:30pm

Can we get OB thoughts for A/B pools? I see the post for the nightmare flex start just wondering if it's the same? Thanks

Thanks!

Kameron Dickerson   June 3 at 3:06pm

For Woodhenge hole 15 is the tall grass right of the path safe? or will that be hazard as well?

Michael Krueger   June 3 at 7:41pm

Right of the path to the water will not be hazard.

Jack Daugherty    June 1 at 1:14pm

Is there a fly mart this year?

Michael Krueger   June 3 at 7:42pm

Planning on Friday afternoon at BRC

Casey Hunt    May 30 at 4:10am

Is Liberty Gold the White Pads layout on UDisc?

Michael Krueger   May 30 at 11:45am

No, the Gold layout isn't currently on uDisc. A couple of baskets had been pulled for winter, so the uDisc course ambassador took the Gold layout off uDisc. I'm not sure why it's not back yet.

Justin Frey    May 28 at 11:42pm

So what’s the verdict on WW? Just kinda want to know what I need to practice for MPO with the tourney under 2 weeks away and no idea what my 4th course/layout will be if we don’t play it.

Michael Krueger   May 29 at 4:30pm

I'm following PDGA Guidelines. On FB, I have made it official and posted the layout for Friday. An email will follow tonight. Thanks for your patience as we work with the city.

Zach Hawkins    May 20 at 8:27pm

I have not played Bad Rock before, but I saw it on coverage from the DGPT event last year. If I drive up to practice the course this weekend, will it be pretty obvious where OB will be marked? Will the layout closely resemble that of the KCWO last year?

I'm also curious if pins will be in tournament position for the Smithville courses and WW by this weekend (although I know WW may not be able to set exactly in tournament positions due to the safari layout).

Thanks to the team for all the work y'all are putting in!

Also, some changes to FPO layout from the 2023 KCWO... 2 will have a DZ, not island. 4 is long pad to new pin. 7 is a par 3 to a shorter pin. 9 is to a shorter pin. 13 is to a shorter pin. 16 is to a longer pin.

Zach Hawkins   May 20 at 10:39pm

Awesome, thanks guys. So I guess La Benite is not an option in lieu of WW?

Michael Krueger   May 29 at 6:54pm

I've considered it and it could be f9r C & D pools. It's hard to trust sugar creek... they aren't good at maintaining the course.

Michael Krueger    May 14 at 5:01pm

As you may or may not know, Water Works Park is going through a construction phase this year. New walking paths are going in from the sidewalk near 8/9 down to 5, up 4 and 5 fairway, and then across and along 3 down to the sidewalk there.

While we knew this was going to happen, we did not know the timing of the construction, and it has taken us by surprise. We are at the mercy of the city when it comes to construction projects in their parks.

We are currently in discussions with the city ... more

Oooooooo

TJ Thurman   May 14 at 5:35pm

This looks fun. Also. Hole 7. 9 Right, is that the short right or the long middle placement?

Michael Krueger   May 15 at 4:22pm

I'm not sure we can actually use it, but this is likely to be a temp layout during construction. And 9 - that short right placement doesn't really count to me.

Louis Belamour    May 1 at 8:26pm

What will be the replacement for the shirt if we sign up after the deadline?

Michael Krueger   May 1 at 9:00pm

Players will still receive shirts, but there is no guarantee I'll have the correct size. For those who register by today, I order and reserve correct shirt sizes. For additional players, I do my best to guess. It's first come first served for those players at PP pickup

Mickey Gregg    April 29 at 9:59pm

MA70?

Michael Krueger   April 30 at 12:04am

I haven't had demand for MA70 previously, so it hasn't been opened.

Mario Ortiz    February 26, 2024 at 6:07pm

Are both Smithville courses split between two days?

Michael Krueger   February 26, 2024 at 6:41pm

A & B poolS will play Woodhenge and Black Thorn on Saturday. C & D pools will play the two courses on Sunday. The Saturday layouts will have more hazard and OB than the Sunday layouts.

Tom Rohrer    February 19, 2024 at 9:13pm

Can pool C/D players check in at their assigned course on Saturday morning or is it necessary to arrive on Thursday or Friday?

Michael Krueger   February 19, 2024 at 10:43pm

You would be able to check in on Saturday.
