Welcome to the tournament registration page for Indy Disc Golf Club’s (IDGC) 2024 Worst Shot Doubles, to be held Monday, Jan. 1st, 2024 at Fall Creek Baptist Church+. Worst Shot is the second stop on IDGC’s annual charity event series. Last year, we raised $2,785 for the St. Vincent de Paul food bank on 30th St. We strongly believe that disc golf is equal parts sport and community, and, with your help this year, we will continue the tradition of being a positive impact within the greater Indianapolis community – over $40K donated to fight food insecurity since 2003!

– Major Details –

Worst Shot is a charity-focused, non-sanctioned, non-rated, single-day, one-round, 27-hole, BYOP-worst-shot-doubles format event. All divisions will play 27-holes from the short pads at Fall Creek. Tee off will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, Jan. 1st, 2024. UDisc will be used for scorekeeping.

In Worst Shot format, both players on a team will tee and then play subsequent shots from the worst resulting lie – “worst” as decided by the other team on the card – until the hole is complete. A hole is completed if any player on a team holes out, or has their throw come to rest in the basket.

– Layout Notes –

All divisions will play 27-holes from the short pads at Fall Creek. For Holes #25 and #27, players will play from the Red/shortest tee out of the three tee options on these holes. On Holes #3 and #18, players will play to the "B" target out of the two permanent basket options on these holes. – Fees and Payouts –

• AM/MIX: $50 per Team – $30 to payouts + $20 to SVdP food bank.
• PRO: $60 per Team – $40 to payouts + $20 to SVdP food bank.

– Optional Add-ons –

• “Mulligan / No Throw Again” charity package – $5 per player. All proceeds to SVdP food bank.

Players must call out their “No Throw Again” before any additional throws are attempted for a hole. A player may use a Mulligan after any throw attempt to re-throw from that lie without incurring a penalty stroke. When a player elects to use a Mulligan, the previous throw is considered abandoned and replaced by the resulting lie of the re-throw. Scoring a hole-in-one with a Mulligan throw counts on the scorecard but not for the Ace pool.

• “Ace & 50/50” contest package – $5 per player.
If no Ace is hit in standard play, all Ace pool proceeds will go to the SVdP food bank.
