I assume scoring will be PDGA live. My dad was possibly going to join but his phone can’t download apps. Is there any way he could use a paper scorecard?

Yes paper scorecards are allowed, it will just need to be turned into the TD after your round for verification.

Hey I have a question. First tournament, and I was wondering how a flex start works. Do you have to have enough people to create a card. Or does the TD get in contact with you?

You can always show up with a card. If you don't have a card you can show up and be added to a card or you can post in the local FB groups. From my experience, the TD will not reach out to create a card.

Nick both Cupcake and ParFa will have a decent amount of players that you should be able to jump on a card. I will also be there all day to make sure players are getting out.
