2024 AM Worlds Flex Start: Smash Like a Hulk presented by Meijer

2024 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships Flex Start - Event #4

The Smash Like a Hulk will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at Smash Park DGC in Belding, MI. This event is a 1 round Flex Start C Tier with Tee Times.


Registration:

1) Paid registration online before the event
2) Paid registration day of the event (Assuming Spots are Open)

Waitlist:

If a waitlist is needed, players must pay in full and register online before the end of registration.

Player's Meeting:

Players meeting will be sent via email the night before the event. This will outline any rules and out of bounds. There is no player's meeting the day of the event. Please check in at minimum 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time.

Format:

1 Round of 18 Holes with Tee Times


Tee Pads:

All competitors will be playing 1 round from the same tee pad location.


Out of Bounds:

The players meeting email will include the official out of bounds for the event.


CTP & LPs:

There will be over $400 in CTP/LPs distributed throughout the course. These can be picked up any day after the event at Disc Baron's retail store.

Trophies:

The winner of each division of at least 3 players will receive an Am Worlds Flex Tournament Trophy. These can be picked up any day after the event at Disc Baron's retail store.

Welcome to SMASH like a HULK Presented by INNOVA! There will be no physical players meeting on site, this will serve as the players meeting. Please see Michael at tournament central with any questions!

Here is a breakdown of what to expect Saturday:
8am-5p Check-in/registration
Please walk up to the Tournament Central to check in to the event. This is also the time to get into the ace pool and 50/50 and if you have not already done so. In the event of no aces a CTP on the course will decide the winner.

Out of bounds rules:

any holes with the black crushed asphalt path
on the path and over the path is OB

the pond on 15 has flags marking OB
you can play from where the disc entered off the tee or from the short pad



3 person minimum to make a group
CTPs, and trophies will be available at Disc Baron after the event, payouts will be available the next day and redeemable at Disc Baron.

$5 Ace Pool & $5 50/20 will be available for entry


Divisions:

I can add any division by requested if it is not listed. At least 3 participants per division will be needed to provide a trophy.




Payouts:

Payouts will be provided using the standard PDGA payout scale. Amateur payouts will be provided by Disc Baron in the form of vouchers to Disc Baron store that can be redeemed in store or online at www.discbaron.com. Vouchers will be distributed via email the day following the completion of the event. Payouts will not be available onsite. Winners will have 6 Months once vouchers are issued to redeem. Vouchers must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.
