Due to a significant amount of late amateur sign ups, we are running out of our extra rangefinders that were ordered. We have at the least 325 rangefinders. With 321 amateurs currently signed up, there are just a few left for the taking! Once we allocate all rangefinders, the remaining player packs will be the same minus the rangefinder and plus a STLDGC voucher.

Flex starts: These have been added to the tournament schedule here in DGS and we are planning to have two on Thursday from 11 AM - 4 PM at Endicott and Carrollton (blues). You can also play sanctioned league at Willmore all day on Wednesday. More information and registration will come out soon for the flex starts!

Point of clarification: The guartunteed player pack deadline was so that we could have an accurate headcount when ordering some items for the player packs. As of now, every amateur signed up will get a full player pack and "first come, first served" means sign up date & time (NOT at check in). If we run out of player pack items, we will re-evaluate and announce the situation but as of right now, we still have plenty extra!

FPO players! We have ANOTHER added benefit to playing in the STLO this year:

Bradley Kelso has generourly offered to pay for 2 FPO entries as long as we can get 3+ signed up to play. Since we already have 2 players in FPO, we only need 1 more. If you sign up as our third FPO player, you have a 2/3 chance of getting that $150 entry fee repaid to you! This would simply be a random draw to determine the 2 FPO entires that get reimbursed for their entry fee.

If you register after that date, you will still receive a shirt, but the size cannot be guaranteed (first come, first served at check-in).

The 2023 St. Louis Open volunteer sign up is open! Every year we look to the community to help make our largest annual area event successful and this year is no different! Below is the link for sign ups. Please reach out to myself, Charlie Akers, or the club Facebook page for additional information.

This year Calvin Kinsella will be coaching and coordinating with the spotters to ensure course flow stays smooth, discs are found quickly, and making sure everyone is safe. Please be sure to check off your available schedule and course location(s) on the form if you’re able to spot for us!

The STLDGC always appreciates how strong our volunteer presence has been over the years and it really shows how much we all love our disc golf community!

FPO Players!

The St. Louis Open this year has some big changes from last year:
- Two rounds at Logan University (with different pins and pars from MPO) and only one round at Carrollton
- Carrollton now has two baskets on every hole! This means you will be playing all 18 short baskets so this is 100% a different layout than what MPO will play (all 18 long baskets)

We've also taken other feedback we received last year seriously and will be ensuring that any issues encountered last year will be addressed this year. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please reach out to me directly - I'm always happy to chat! We love having a great FPO turnout here in St. Louis and hope to keep it going! :)

The FULL amateur player pack:

- MVP Parsec Laser Rangefinder
- 2 Premium Custom Artwork MVP Discs
- Custom Artwork Shirt (material TBD)

Entry fee is $150 for all divisions ($100 entry for juniors as trophy only divisions)
