Im gonna do my best to get an email out to volunteers, but if anything if you are going to taplands come see me. Regarding waitlist I would definitely still come Saturday morning to see if someone drops. If anything since your group would be at KP, I would just assign you to volunteer at KP and if you happen to get into the event then you are good to go.

MP50 and MPO will be playing Kelley Park on the same day. A&B Pool technically play different courses on Saturday, but both courses are very close together. I suggest looking at the course maps posted in the info column. It is recommended that those who carpool drop off one player off at the course they are playing and drive down the road to the other course. When pools switch courses I suggest grabbing a ride from another player on your card to the other course.

I believe Raza is already setup in the tournament layout, at least the green baskets. We have our Annual TriFecta league going on right now with its finall stop at Hellyer for the next three weeks. The final week of the trifecta the baskets will be placed in their SVDGC Classic positions. KP will probably be set in position in the beginning of September as we typically update those positions on a monthly basis. A quick synopsis of the courses is as follows: KP: fairly wide open and flat with some technical greens, left handers and big hyzer players will be right at home on most holes. Hellyer: lots of elevation change and middling distance, failure to hit your landing zone can be very punishing especially on the holes near the boundaries of the course. Raza: the most difficult course in our stable. A lot of low ceiling high power tee shots with a couple of shorter transitional holes. Missing your line here will punish you harshly.

If you are coming in from out of town and wanna log some throws on the courses, I would probably recommend either Kelley or La Raza. KP has 21 holes, and has more variety. But I cannot guarantee that the tournament positions will be in before the end of Sept. There are multiple baskets on most holes of the front 10. La Raza however also has two baskets per hole on all 9 holes. But also has the advantage of being set up in the long positions which will be in play for the event. It is also a much tougher course, so practice would be very beneficial there. Hope that helps!

Thats already how the sign ups are set up. There are plenty of spots reserved for women by default. Additionally there are no caps for ladies during the ladies early reg. If 50 ladies sign up, 50 ladies get in!

This response is for both people asking for 60+ divisions. Historically we have run with fewer numbers of divisions in favor or larger field sizes for said divisions. Additionally, running 3 courses at once is very challenging. It requires 4 pools of players, and each pool requires the player count to be well balanced. It is easier to manage mathematically with fewer divisions. However that said, I am trying to think of a way to add a couple divisions and still have the pools balance well. Just keep an eye on the page around registration time.

J.J. for a TD to be required to open a division there must be 4 of you to request the division. Otherwise a TD is not required to open a division. There is typically more leniency in the women and Jr divisions as there is usually less players in those division.
