Is the players meeting mandatory? Planning on checking in earlier in the day.

It is highly recommended.

Jeff Jacquart   May 22, 2023 at 10:52pm

The player is 100% responsible for any material discussed at the players meeting.

Will the Circle bar course be the same layout for both A pool and B pool?

Rebecca Duffy   May 18, 2023 at 8:16pm

It will not. MP40 will be 8,503 feet, par 62 and the rest will be 8,361 feet, par 63. I posted a map of the layout in the pictures.

Terry Schulz   May 18, 2023 at 9:22pm

Thank you

Thanks Rebecca, 7pm did seem a little early for the available light. I think it's $5 green fees still, yah?

Rebecca Duffy   May 18, 2023 at 8:20pm

The green fees will be paid by the event and I will remind them.

Chris B Graham, PhDisc   May 23, 2023 at 1:57am

We were charged $5 green fees today.

Is there going to be any kind of caddy book? I'm hoping so, since I won't be able to get there early enough to play and learn both courses.

Rebecca Duffy   May 12, 2023 at 10:18pm

No caddy book - just kidding. The caddy book will be completed next week but the layout with the rules will be completed by Tuesday.

Jan Smutz   May 13, 2023 at 1:55pm

Awesome, thank you!

Are there video link previews of the courses, Camp Serene, Stewart Pond and Dexter that I haven't been able to find?

Anna Hare   May 12, 2023 at 2:17pm

Resistance Open 2020 on YouTube has Dexter and Serene

Jeff Prime    May 12, 2023 at 1:39am

Can anyone tell me if the courses are cart friendly? If so, does anyone know where I can rent a Rovic style cart? I'm not looking forward to packing mine out on a plane.

Mark Hill   May 12, 2023 at 1:57am

I used my Zuca on camp serene and Dexter. There were a couple spots where it was a bit tight, but overall ok.

bryan van fleet   May 12, 2023 at 2:20pm

It will be fine for carts

Brandon Vaughan    May 11, 2023 at 9:03pm

Who's camping??

Dustin Hummel   May 15, 2023 at 8:35pm

I'm thinking about it.

Jim Geurin   May 20, 2023 at 1:05pm

I am - 2 different locations - Richardson Park (8 miles from Camp Serene and 13 miles from Stewart Pond) and Dexter Shores, right there near Dexter.

Dustin Hummel   May 24, 2023 at 9:58pm

Heading to Dexter shores

James McLaughlin    May 11, 2023 at 6:47pm

This may be a silly question, or just a commonsense thing, but I'm looking to find out if we'll need to take care for poison oak, etc. on any of the courses? I'll be new to the NW region and trying to figure out whether I'll be wearing slacks/jeans vs shorts at the courses. Thanks!

*usual

Todd Goodman   May 15, 2023 at 4:09am

Over the weekend I got to play and check out three of the four courses. (pretty paranoid because I'm hyper allergic to poison oak) Camp Serene: didn't see any at all; shorts are fine. Stewart Pond: saw a few sprigs but seems to be easily avoidable. Dexter: definitely pants unless you stay 100% in the fairway, poison oak very healthy looking in much of the rough right now.

James McLaughlin   May 15, 2023 at 4:24pm

Thanks for the input on those courses Todd. No problem, Anna! Will look for ya' when we get there!

Rhema Nelson    May 2, 2023 at 4:22pm

Any chance that there can be a live-stream of the players meeting for those of us that cant get that time off?

Jon Horgan   May 11, 2023 at 2:14pm

Please live stream the meeting!! I cannot leave my kids until Wednesday night.

Gary Fitzgerald "FITZ"   May 21, 2023 at 2:51am

Maybe someone that can attend can facebook live.

Will a caddie need a spectators pass?

Karen May   May 2, 2023 at 3:33pm

Following!!

Rebecca Duffy   May 2, 2023 at 8:15pm

You will receive a caddy badge with your name on it when you check-in. You will only receive one so make sure that you get it back after each round if you know you will have a different caddy.

mike sandner   May 2, 2023 at 11:47pm

Thank you!

chris graham    May 1, 2023 at 2:32pm

Question, is there going to be bathrooms, running water at Stewart Pond?? And also, is there going to be directions on the camp serene course so we don't get lost?

Just played serene this past weekend for the first time and it was easy to navigate.

Jordan Lewis   May 2, 2023 at 4:20pm

played it on Saturday and there was a dearth of signage. the on basket next tee indicators are nice but when it points to a wide road and the way to the next tee is an small offshoot of that road it really doesn't help. we only wandered errantly once but it was a real energy waster. We can find the courses, but hole flow signage needs work at Serene.

Rebecca Duffy   May 2, 2023 at 8:18pm

Thank you Mark and Jordan

Anna Hare    April 28, 2023 at 2:37pm

What days will the courses be available to practice? Are there costs associated with practice rounds before the event?

Ezra Severin   May 16, 2023 at 4:09pm

Circle Bar will be open for Tournament practice Mon-Wed 2-7pm. I just confirmed this with the front desk.

My father in law has an airbnb that is about 6-7 minutes from Stewart Pond and is in a very nice centrally located area in Eugene. Here is the link, as of now it is still available for Selinkse dates.

Why isn't the nightly rate in US dollars? Is this a scam? ₹12,879 night this is what it says the cost is.

JB Bauersfeld    March 22, 2023 at 7:45pm

Looking at the tentatively scheduled players meeting... start time is currently 6pm. What are the chances that it can be moved back a couple hours so that those of us who are arriving on Wednesday afternoon can play a practice round prior to the players meeting?

Rebecca Duffy   March 27, 2023 at 3:21pm

Unfortunately, we can't move it until later. It might be moved earlier. I apologize for the inconvenience.
