Are approximate tee time windows by division available?

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 1:25am

Not that I'm aware of, but I will reach out to the team.

Matt Benotsch   July 4, 2023 at 2:09am

Thanks, hoping to practice at the time of day I’ll be playing.

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 2:52am

I'm told that the Operations & Logistics team has created the tee Time plan, hopefully it will be available online soon.

How does one go about designating a caddy?

Bill Block   July 3, 2023 at 5:49pm

All players will received a caddy bib in their players pack. Just make your caddy wears it while caddying. He/she will be styling!

Dan Bayless   July 6, 2023 at 1:43am

Thank you so much.

So even if there are spots left the last 3 can't get in?

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 2:40pm

Correct as it's not just open spots, it's open spots within the same pool that if added to a different division won't increase the number of playing groups.

Jack Selleh   July 4, 2023 at 3:17pm

Thanks

Roger Vartabedian    July 2, 2023 at 8:45pm

Are practice rounds only for registered players or can non-competitors also play prior to the start of actual competition?

hope you found it, I just returned from the printer with 300 signs that should help people orient once they're out (tomorrow at LAL and LACC)

Bill Block   July 4, 2023 at 12:55am

Best way to get there is go to the southeast side of the building and follow the nature trail to hole 1

JohnE McCray   July 4, 2023 at 1:37am

Thank you very much

James Elkins    July 2, 2023 at 5:04pm

Can someone provide a answer to when the spots that aren’t filled in the original pools be allotted to those on the waitlist. Is there a person that I can be directed to. Thanks

Andrew Sweeton   July 3, 2023 at 11:35am

We are looking at it right now.

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 1:39am

This has been done, four more spots for MP60, four more spots for MA65, 1 for FP60, 1 for MA75.

James Elkins    July 1, 2023 at 3:40pm

Is there a target date for final division spots? Getting close to travel and need to arrange everything that goes with it… practice, accommodation verification or cancellation etc. thanks

Done earlier today.

Jordan Stout    July 1, 2023 at 2:36pm

I thought I signed up for the distance competition, but because registration is closed I am unable to check. I checked my "registrations" on my profile and all it is showing for worlds is the registration for the 2 spectator passes I purchased. Can someone help me out?

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 1:45am

Jordan - you did not register for Field Events, sorry.

John Belty    June 30, 2023 at 3:37pm

Are you going to shuffle the divisions now that registration is closed? Looks like 16 spots and only 10 on waitlist. Would like to move into MP55 from MP50 division if there is some realignment.

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 1:41am

This has been done, four more spots for MP60, four more spots for MA65, 1 for FP60, 1 for MA75. Sorry but MP55 is full.

James Jurden    June 28, 2023 at 2:45pm

I know I am on the waitlist, but should I get off the waitlist , can I get into the field events? Thanks

What is the elevation for Little America and Ft.Tuthill please?

Scott Merritt   June 26, 2023 at 3:40am

Flagstaff sits at 7000 feet. Both courses are about that elevation.

Serenity Madison   June 26, 2023 at 9:37pm

Thanks, Scott!

Christine Huestis    June 25, 2023 at 11:48pm

Hi, What is the best/easiest way to get to Flagstaff from Phoenix. My flight arrives around 13.00 and it would be nice to get to Flagstaff within same day :)

If you need to stay overnight in PHX we have an extra room as long as your not allergic to dogs or cats.

Hi all. My partner just had to withdraw and I am looking for a partner for the doubles. I am in the 55+ division if that makes a difference. [email redacted].

Hi
Is there a shop in Flagstaff that sells discs prior to the tournament week?

Bill Block   June 22, 2023 at 3:28pm

Aspen Sports and Peace Surplus have good inventories of different manufacturers and molds, and HomCo carries DD. All 3 are sponsors of the worlds, so I please support them with your business! Bill Block

Jack Selleh    June 22, 2023 at 1:34am

Just a PSA if your at all interested in frisbee/ disc golf history make sure to stop by the Flying Disc Museum's conference.I was able to see a small portion of the discs, minis etc.. that will be on display and there's treasures galore. I've also heard that there will be hundreds of new 1980's and 1990's disc available at the flymart and T/O the week for those interested.

Are spectators allowed just to walk around with a group. May have a friend or two that would like to walk and watch. I havent seen this question asked. Hope it's not a duplicate question. Tia

Robert Leonard   June 21, 2023 at 3:06pm

Hi Blake. No, they cannot walk directly with the group. As comp manual 3.05 G says, "In PDGA Majors and Elite Series events, the group consists of the players themselves, each player’s individual caddie, any active Tournament staff such as leaderboard attendants, Tournament Officials, etc ... more

Blake Morgan   June 21, 2023 at 7:15pm

Thank you Robert.
