Can I purchase a caddie pass at check in?

Patrick Graziani   July 8, 2023 at 7:20pm

Caddies do not need a purchased pass. All players will receive a caddie bib in their players pack.

Robert Cummings III   July 9, 2023 at 2:17am

Heck yeah

Dan Bayless    July 8, 2023 at 3:30pm

Are Little America and Tutle open for practice today?

You bet, sorry I don't know the answer on Fort Tuthill.

Andrew Sweeton   July 8, 2023 at 5:55pm

But I think an email was going out, or already went out, to all players with practice info.

Patrick Graziani   July 8, 2023 at 6:11pm

Tuthill is open for play. The two courses at Little America are closed until the completion of doubles.

Robert R. Bainbridge    July 8, 2023 at 2:03pm

I had thought I had signed up for some of the field events (putting, skillshot) but see that I am not on the roster. I looked back at my registration and those are not listed. Were the field events a completely different registration time? Your receipt usually Lists the events you decline, as in it lists that I declined doubles.

Andrew Sweeton   July 8, 2023 at 3:26pm

No, sorry, both Doubles and all Field Events were available on the registration form. The two doubles-related items you see with just a hyphen are not the declining of a doubles registration, those are just the blank text fields for a doubles partner name and PDGA number which you had not filled out.

Robert R. Bainbridge   July 8, 2023 at 3:36pm

Well, I guess I wasn’t feeling it when I signed up. It was awhile back. Thanks for the reply

Dan Bayless    July 8, 2023 at 2:57am

Will it be possible to enter distance competition at checkin ?

Andrew Sweeton   July 8, 2023 at 11:39am

No, sorry, Field Events were pre-reg only.

Rick Sonny liston    July 8, 2023 at 1:23am

So, last minute stupid question, if we want to have a caddy, what are the needed steps to do so?
Thanks

If you have someone in mind you get a caddy bib in your players pack. If you don't have someone then I haven't a clue.

Karin Falcone    July 7, 2023 at 5:05pm

There are 8 women registered in FP55, so why are there only 2 spots for finals?FP50 has 8 as well but they get 4 in finals.

Andrew Sweeton   July 7, 2023 at 5:29pm

It's only 7 women in FP55, one player was in both FP55 and FP60, the refund had not yet occurred.

Edge Dostal   July 7, 2023 at 7:21pm

It's difficult to fill FP aged divisions. It's so close that it would be nice to allow 4 to play semi

Richard Copeland    July 6, 2023 at 9:24pm

If no one drops in MP60 before the end of the day can you add me to MP50?

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 10:51pm

Sure thing.

Bill Potts    July 6, 2023 at 9:05pm

Do you have a rough outline/schedule for the field day events? Would prefer not to get there at 10 and wait till 2pm to start the event I'm registered for. Thx

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 10:50pm

All field events are all day, you do them at your convenience. I would suggest not waiting too late to do Skillshot or Putting as they take a while to complete.

Bill Potts   July 7, 2023 at 2:04pm

Ok, thank you.

Richard Copeland    July 6, 2023 at 4:13pm

If no one drops by Monday do I still sign in, go to the player's meeting? Should I show up at Thorpe on Tuesday in case there is a no show? I guess what I am asking is when am I out of the tournament? I'm on the wait list MP60 BTW.

keith johnson   July 6, 2023 at 5:34pm

Andrew answered you on your other post yesterday

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 7:52pm

Once we refund the waitlist tomorrow, there are no further replacements.

Rocky THE GREAT ONE Armijo    July 6, 2023 at 3:57am

Is there same day sign ups for the putting competition or did i miss out??

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 11:26am

Sorry, no day-of signups.

Richard Copeland    July 6, 2023 at 2:24am

Does someone have to drop in MP60 or can you add another spot? I'm the last one on the wait list...

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 11:25am

We need a drop because adding you to MP60 would over subscribe the pool for playing groups.

Jenny Umstead    July 5, 2023 at 11:30pm

Where can we find the doubles teams that signed up?

Bill Block    July 5, 2023 at 9:06pm

Show up & GLOW up!

Immediately following Monday’s mandatory player meeting we will be offering Glow Golf! Brought to you by Disc in the Dark, we will have a modified exhibition layout of the Little America Crew Course beginning at hole 1 available to open play at night fall.

Come say hi to our friend Niel from Disc in the Dark who’s made the long trip out from Alabama to be with us! Niel has best in class Glow Disc Golf accessories. Keep an eye out for illuminated baskets throughout the week, and check out Disc in the Dark at the Fly Mart!

Hello locals of Flagstaff (or other mtn bikers/dg'ers). Any mtb riders amongst us that would have some recommendations for fun flowy single track rides? I know there's lots of options in the great mtb scene there. Not looking to risk life and limb, just some fun rides up to 10 or so miles. Thanks in advance.

Bill Block   July 5, 2023 at 8:47pm

Flagstaff is a heavy mtb town and there are many trails. You might check with one of the bike shops (Flagstaff Bicycle Revolution, Absolute Bikes, Cosmic Cycles, Single Track) and I'm sure they can turn you on to more trails than you have time for.

Tom Carrillo   July 6, 2023 at 11:28pm

Thanks Bill

Scott Zimmerman    July 5, 2023 at 2:45am

Happy 4th! May I ask when the Mando tree will be marked at Thorpe?

Bill Block   July 5, 2023 at 3:04am

Hole 6, mando is on the right side of the fairway and you must go left of the mando.

Rebecca Duffy    July 4, 2023 at 10:38pm

All field event registrations have been updated. If you do not see your name and you signed up, please email me at [email redacted].

What is the starting time for the Saturday doubles? And is it already decided WHEN will the Tuesday start times be announced?

Patrick Graziani   July 4, 2023 at 8:47pm

Doubles on Saturday will start around 915am. All players who are registered for doubles will receive an email later this week with more information.

Andrew Sweeton   July 4, 2023 at 10:07pm

And the Tee Times for Tuesday will be posted shortly following the close of check-in on Monday.

Jack Selleh    July 4, 2023 at 2:09pm

Will we be able to get spectator passes before doubles starts? Or will spectators not need them to watch doubles?

Jack Selleh   July 4, 2023 at 2:20pm

To clarify, I bought three, can they be picked up prior to doubles start?

Patrick Graziani   July 4, 2023 at 4:18pm

Spectator passes will only be required for the singles competition at Little America. Spectator passes will be available for pick up at event check in, or during competition inside of the Little America Hotel.

Jack Selleh   July 4, 2023 at 4:23pm

Thank you

Eric Krieckhaus    July 4, 2023 at 2:31am

Any double partner out there? My partner canceled and I’m going to have to withdraw if no one else is interested. Thanks!

Todd Lion    July 4, 2023 at 1:45am

Following the close of registration, we have made the final minor adjustments to field sizes as of July 3. No further division cap changes will be made. All movement from this point forward will only come from existing waitlists.
