Please open up some more Ma40 spots! Early tee times are great
David Wofford June 27, 2023 at 4:05pm
Please open at least 5 more spots in MA 65. These guys are old and may not see another tournament!
This division has had a tough time for this event. 26 out of 32 slots were already filled by top-rated and international players BEFORE it was opened to Qualified Folk. Did you get the part about only 32? Hope there is some movement on this division. I'm still coming and am still 6 on the waitlist. Tell me there is hope?
I hope you get in Ron, but I do question your 26 of 32 slots filled prior to open registration. Where did you get this number? I thought there were only about 10 slots filled. That is still a lot, when there's only 32 to fill. With Emporia being next year's location, the field size should grow as there are many more courses in that area.

When do remaining spaces get allocated to the wait list?
When someone drops from a division, the first person on the waitlist for that division gets in. There is no other allocation of space.

If it is still open, how can I get into the field events for MA55? Afraid to change registration and then get dropped to waitlist. Had it happen once. Thanks,
Rob
Thanks. I hope I still have the email. So many emails. Lol If can not find any other options?

Little America Crew Course MA40 Review
Very much a “mountain course”. You’re basically playing on volcanic rocks with sporadic native grasses, this makes anything that isn’t a putt very tricky (if not dangerous). Lots of elevation changes make a 222’ hole play like 400’. It’s the perfect Flagstaff Worlds Course! Brand new tee pads, brand new baskets. The course is tuned very well for MA40. NOT CART FRIENDLY, don’t bring your cart out here, you’ll regret it. Harder than Fort Tuthill, double digits is possible but 5-8 down feel more realistic.
Somebody posted a front 9 drone fly over on YouTube. It doesn't show tee pads but you get a little preview of how it looks. Here is the a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XDShegrGsA&ab_channel=JacksonGrafflin

MA40 Tuthill Course Review
I was able to be in Flagstaff today to check out the course. Course is beautiful and well maintained. Has great tee pads and quality baskets. Lots of short par 3’s and 4’s. This is the type of course where you feel like you should birdie every hole so I’d be expecting some double digits rounds each round. Cart friendly. This course is well tuned for MA40 (but it could be harder).
Worlds Layout isn’t in UDisc as of this posting ???????? .
I saw it there yesterday. I had to click on 'More Layouts' or something like that...

If i am unable to make it for the long drive comp but registered.
Do i need to edit my registration.
I would emagine not due to it not being a paid in event.
Just checking.
Thnx
Not sure, but I think the long drive (and feild events) were schedualed for twin arrow on July 9th. I will not be in flag until monday afternoon the 10th. How was it already concluded ?
Oh sorry, I mis-read, I thought you were talking about Amateur Worlds. Yes, you would edit your registration which would then prompt a refund to be processed.

Women seem to be dropping like flies. Maybe some men's divisions should be expanded.
With 4 openings or more in each division FA55,60,65, and large waitlist in MA55, 60,65, you should be able to add a foursome of Men in each of those divisions.

Can I still buy a banquet ticket for July 11th?? Somehow I missed this and I thought I read everything
I've opened a few spots in the banquet. Registration closes on 30 June. https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Banquet_Tickets_for_2023_PDGA_Masters_Disc_Golf_World_Championships

Are McPherson and NAU cart friendly? Thank you
From the Pro Masters Comments: "Scott Merritt 2 days ago Cart Friendly - Fort Tuthill Semi- Cart Friendly - NAU and McPherson (but be prepared for some rough areas) Not Cart Friendly - Little America Long, Little America Crew Course and Thorpe
Iain McNidder June 21, 2023 at 3:28pm
Is there a waitlist for the banquet? I missed the cut off and when there's only 3 of us coming over from England and I'm the doughnut that forgot its a little annoying to be missing out!!
It does not look as if this is true. "Bill Block April 14 at 2:33am Sorry, banquet is not included in the registration. It will be extra. "https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Banquet_Tickets_for_2023_PDGA_Masters_Disc_Golf_World_Championships/comments

Dale E Baynes June 20, 2023 at 1:03pm
Willing to play what ever class has a spot that needs filled Dale Baynes ma 60
Looks like your best bet would be to register for MA50 since it has the shortest waitlist.
Robert Mooney June 20, 2023 at 12:18am
Any chance of adding four spots in ma 50?
Bill Kirk June 19, 2023 at 5:51pm
I'm sure its somewhere, but there are so many info pages. What is the dress code?
“ No tee shirts will be allowed, except for competitors in the Junior and Amateur divisions during preliminary rounds. Juniors and Amateurs shall not wear tee shirts during semifinal or final rounds. Crew neck or v-neck shirts made of high-performance or high-tech materials, such as Dry-Fit, Cool-Max, and others will be allowed.”
Hi Scott. The competition committee has interpreted t-shirts to mean cotton as acceptable. This has been the standard for amateur majors and will be the standard this year.

On my pdga upcoming events page it shows both the doubles event and all field events will be that Saturday. The PDF schedule shows doubles on Saturday, field events on Sunday. Are the field events on Sunday? Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up Webb. Doubles is saturday and field events are sunday. we are updating.
Matthias Lambur June 15, 2023 at 8:48am
do we need tee times for training? And if so, where do I have to book them?
Angie Taylor June 15, 2023 at 2:40am
What Facebook page should I post on to find a caddy for the tournament?
We will not be adding any additional spots to the field at this time.
