Also you haven't filled out any of the ladies classes so there's the spots that could be used to expand other classes to bring you up to your 520 players as posted for the tournament

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. We can't just move unused spots from one division to any other division. We can only move unused spots from one division to a division that is in the same course pool and moving the spots can only be done if the movement doesn't increase the number of playing groups in that course pool.

Dale E Baynes    July 7, 2023 at 10:25am

Why can't you just keep my registration fees and still give out the players packs ?

Andrew Sweeton   July 7, 2023 at 10:52am

See the Withdrawal and Refund Policy here: https://www.pdga.com/files/amateur_divisions_at_2023_pdga_masters_worlds_-_refund_policy_v2.pdf The reason we only provide player packs to registered players who are present is because of the logistics of providing enough player packs for the entire field ... more

I am 3rd on waiting list for MA65. I intend to go out Monday. Is there anywhere to check in? Do they just send an email and I just show up at the tee time?

Andrew Sweeton   July 7, 2023 at 10:39am

If you get in off the waitlist prior to us refunding it at mid-day today, you will receive an email letting you know you got in. Otherwise you will receive your waitlist refund email midday today and know you are not playing.

Gregory David Forest   July 7, 2023 at 11:21pm

Hope you get in Olds, it would be great to play with you again. If you come up anyway I could use a caddy

Don Krueger    July 6, 2023 at 7:49pm

How are you notified if you get in off the waitlist (sitting @ #1 and praying) and what actions do you need to take?

Thank you (also WL#1 here)

Tony Dalton   July 6, 2023 at 10:35pm

Let’s just hope the ones that got promoted off of the WL are checking emails.

Don Krueger   July 7, 2023 at 1:10am

I'm checking every 5 mins. LOL Going to be steamed if I don't get in just because I live in a rural area and have slow internet. Was ranked 11th in the global rankings at the time of sign up but that puts you 20 something on the waitlist if you don't have fast internet..

Kevin Evers    July 6, 2023 at 6:42pm

Tomorrow WL ppl will be refunded and the tournament will be closed, so today is the last day to DROP out to receive a REFUND as long as there is a WL player to take your spot.

Don’t leave $$ on the table!

Hello, Where might the best place be to post requests for a possible caddie for rounds at Am Masters Worlds

stan johnson    July 6, 2023 at 5:03pm

Parking is now available and covered for NAU course. Park in P62B right in front of hole 1.

Rad Roberts   July 6, 2023 at 9:21pm

Will we need to display a permit or something? If so when will we get that? Thx

Helen Kostoff   July 7, 2023 at 7:06pm

We just parked in the lot next to hole 1’s tee pad. No pass

Mario Martinez    July 6, 2023 at 4:49pm

Can someone tell me some basic info on doubles? Like what time it starts, what time do we check in for it. I can’t find info anywhere other than it’s on Saturday. At this point it’s only 48 hours or less until it starts.

Steven Kelso   July 6, 2023 at 7:39pm

They sent an email out a couple hours ago about it.

Webb Warren   July 8, 2023 at 12:09am

Man, I cannot find an email or any info about doubles.

Chad Loegering    July 6, 2023 at 3:07pm

Even the guide you posted for semifinals and finals states this: " o Depending on the overall field size, the semi-finals cut may range from 25 to 40 percent of the places in the field." Yet all AMs are at 20%...

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2023 at 7:55pm

Good catch, we'll get that old verbiage updated, thanks.

Kristofer Jonson   July 6, 2023 at 10:54pm

So are AMs now at 40% like normal or are we still having to place in top 20%

Andrew Sweeton   July 7, 2023 at 10:34am

Ams are at 20%, see: https://www.pdga.com/2023mastersworlds/course-schedule

Helen Kostoff    July 6, 2023 at 3:05pm

My partner and I are 4th on the waitlist for doubles, will you be adding spots if someone drops?

Joe Judd    July 6, 2023 at 1:42pm

Looks like I may not make it in. But since my wife is playing, I will be there. Is there a page or contact info for your volunteer coordinator?

Rick Brazil   July 7, 2023 at 2:17am

You made it in!

Chad Miltenberger    July 6, 2023 at 11:42am

Anyone know where the info is for those super color PDGA Worlds Masters discs that they were selling? I can’t seem to find it now. Thanks!

Found it! Thanks Eric!

Caddie book questions: Are we getting printed copies at check-in or are we supposed to print our own? Is the LACC book supposed to have the same hole image for both holes #5 and #6?

There is SOOO MUCH info on this tournament, im swimming in info. What is "Final 9" Is that like what we play if we make the cut for next Saturday? I thought all MA40s are only playing LACC and Tutthill. Where is this information at that says we play a different course?

Bill Kirk   July 6, 2023 at 3:32pm

Kristofer https://www.pdga.com/2023mastersworlds/course-schedule Final 9 MA40 is LAL

Kristofer Jonson   July 6, 2023 at 10:55pm

Thanks Bill, so only playing LA long if we make the cut. Got it, thanks for clarifying for me!

Helen Kostoff    July 6, 2023 at 3:08am

Will there be practice spot for the long drive contest?

Wesley Hunt   July 9, 2023 at 5:36am

The parking directions say the long drive and warm up field is south of LACC hole 8. That’s across the entire course. Is there a way to get there that does not make you walk through the entire course and possibly interfere with play on LACC? Will the putting and skillshot be near there, or should we try to park at Little America, along that small parking strip by hole 1?

Bill Block   July 9, 2023 at 12:22pm

You can walk the trail system to the field events venue with minimal disruption to players practicing. We will also have a shuttle departing from the back of the hotel on the SE corner to the field events.

Wesley Hunt   July 9, 2023 at 4:16pm

Great, thanks!

Bryan Pyle    July 6, 2023 at 12:30am

Do we know the final 9 layouts yet? Specifically for MA40, I know we play the little American long, but is it 1-9? 10-18? Something in between?

Is this the same for MA55?

Wade Wolff   July 6, 2023 at 4:19am

Disregard, I see the answer in the materials posted today. Thank you!!!

Bill Kirk   July 6, 2023 at 4:28am

Looks like caddie book has LA Long Final 9 as 9-11 and 13-18

Dale E Baynes    July 5, 2023 at 11:30pm

I fly out Sunday I see I'm probably not getting to play do still receive my players pack?

Patrick Graziani   July 6, 2023 at 1:13am

Players packs are not provided for waitlisted players. You will be refunded on Friday if you you do not get in off the wait-list by then.

Dale E Baynes    July 5, 2023 at 11:23pm

How do you get invited?

Don Bucko    July 5, 2023 at 10:15pm

Any chance there will be an insulated water bottle included in the Player Pack? Curious to see if I need to pack one. Thanks.

Katarina Cochran   July 6, 2023 at 2:24am

To my opinion, if you're driving, it doesn't matter...if you're flying, it's a great thing to have your insulated bottle anyway, since you can always refill it at the airports instead of buying overpriced bottled water (that's what I do)

Keith Mason    July 5, 2023 at 9:14pm

Several waitlisters are still going to attend the event. If there are openings by the day before the first round, and waitlisters are present, will they have a chance to be placed into the tourney?

Jon Cockes   July 5, 2023 at 10:03pm

Very interested in the answer to this.

Andrew Sweeton   July 5, 2023 at 10:08pm

No, once we refund the waitlist on Friday the event is closed, we do not do replacements after that time. See the registration schedule.
