Chad Miltenberger   April 13, 2023 at 12:40am

Pretty sure they are the same right?

Eric Graff   April 13, 2023 at 2:50am

1 hour difference

Roger Rahill    April 11, 2023 at 12:06pm

Regretfully, I must withdraw due to family plans. Do well you MA65s!

What does Not Mixed mean?
MA40 can not play with a MA60?

This is Amateur Divisional Doubles, NOT Mixed Doubles. Only those players participating in the Masters Worlds singles competition may register for the Doubles competition.

Andrew Sweeton   April 11, 2023 at 2:27am

Mixed Doubles is one male partner, one female partner.

My brother is playing MPO 50 and I'm playing MA55; can we register to play doubles together in MPO 50?

Andrew Sweeton   April 10, 2023 at 3:45pm

Sorry, but no, the Pro doubles spots are only available to the pro competitors to use. If there is unused space at the end, that might be able to be accommodated.

Michael Moore    April 10, 2023 at 12:23am

Why’s the field cut to 72 now?!

Charles Blacknall II   April 10, 2023 at 11:30am

I saw that too but it's back now.

Andrew Sweeton   April 10, 2023 at 3:40pm

The caps are set per registration tier. Once it is time for the All Invitees reg tier, it will be set to the full caps minus any World Champions that have not registered yet.

Chad Loegering    April 9, 2023 at 8:56pm

What time is the doubles on Saturday?

Chris Dierkens   April 9, 2023 at 9:20pm

0800 is always a good time to pencil in.

Chad Loegering   April 10, 2023 at 1:41am

that makes zero sense since few people will be there yet, so I hope you are wrong.

Andrew Sweeton   April 10, 2023 at 3:34pm

Usually the player meeting is at 9:00am, but I see they didn't post a time yet on the Course Schedule, I will inquire and ask them to update that.

Salvador Duran    April 8, 2023 at 12:28am

I see people registered who don’t have the required amount of points ?

Katarina, and your husband have lots of fun and good luck in the tournament. I hoping to go this yr, but may have to wait until next yr.

Katarina Cochran   April 8, 2023 at 10:55pm

Thank you Billy, we'll do! Well, at least that's the plan...if you decide to come after all, I hope we'll meet!

Billy Turnbull   April 8, 2023 at 10:58pm

It states that it is not mixed doubles. Doesn't that mean you have to find a partner in your exact age division, or am I reading that wrong?

Helen Kostoff   April 10, 2023 at 6:42am

You can play a lower aged division, but not up. Last year I played FA65, but played FA55 doubles.

Shawn Boyd   April 10, 2023 at 11:58am

Good to know!

Sue Perales... I thought you were going pro!

I thought so too......? Bummer!!!

Eric Bowers    April 5, 2023 at 8:48pm

Why is the tournament capped at 500 people but if you add up the caps in each division it only adds up to 231? For example it looks like MA40 was reduced from 144 to 72 so I’m assuming other divisions changed as well.

Andrew Sweeton   April 5, 2023 at 8:52pm

The caps are set for each registration tier to ensure later tiers have a chance to register as well. Once it is time for the All Invitees tier to open they will be increased to the full amount minus any World Champions that have not yet registered.

Traveling to AM worlds with my twin boys, 11 yo, so will need some kind of babysitter at times during the week... Someone who can hang out with them while I play. Skateboarding, at the pool, etc... I bought three spectator passes so you can come and see the tournament as well. They speak English very well. So all tips regarding this are very appreciated!

Check out craigslist - Us - Arizona -flagstaff/sedona - community - childcare. Im sure you can find someone.

Bill Block   April 7, 2023 at 7:56pm

If you're on facebook, you might consider joining the Flagstaff Disc Golf Club page and post on there. Many players have kids about the same age as your sons and might be able to help.

Chris Bleiler    April 5, 2023 at 3:47pm

Will the spectator passes allow family/friends to follow (and stay with) the card? Or will they be required to stay in spectator only areas?

Thanks

Thanks. Is this for both courses? Or only Little America?

Andrew Sweeton   April 6, 2023 at 7:06pm

I'm not quite sure specifically what you are asking but my understanding is that the Spectator Passes are only required for Little America at Masters Worlds. However, the requirement that the group on the course consists of only the players, their caddies, and tournament staff (including crede ... more

Thank you for clarifying. I was thinking of traveling with my two girls, and was curious if they would be able to walk with me. Seems like they will be unable to.

Don Bucko    April 5, 2023 at 11:56am

Just wanted some clarification on the spectator pass option during registration.

It says players don’t need them, but we are given the option to buy them. Is that for a family/friend that may want to watch?

I assume players that aren’t playing can still spectate and watch the finals or a friend play in their round without needing a spectator pass?

Thanks for clarifying

Bill Block   April 5, 2023 at 1:07pm

Don, spectator passes are only needed for Little America. Families/friends will need a spectator pass and the pass is good for all days of competition. Players do not need a pass to spectate.

I've never been to masters but would love a FA40 doubles partner. Anyone interested? I'm Canadian and can register tomorrow.

Is there any movement on securing dorms at NAU for housing??

Bill Block   April 5, 2023 at 1:10pm

We have not secured NAU dorms for housing.

Is that something that still might be possible?

Bill Block   April 10, 2023 at 9:18pm

Can a ticket be purchased for the Tuesday night dinner for a Caddie?

Bill Block   April 4, 2023 at 3:30pm

Banquet tickets will go on sale through DGS after the registration tier opens for pro all-invites. Tickets can be purchased for non-players (caddies, friends, family).

Ron Tiley   April 6, 2023 at 2:46pm

Thank you

Looking at the players registered it says 11/28. Does that me 11 out of the 28 that are eligible to sign up now have done so?

Andrew Sweeton   April 3, 2023 at 6:30pm

No, that means 11 players have registered for the 28 spots available for the current registration tier. The number of spots will available will change for each registration tier. the total number of spots are shown on the course schedule.

Ronnie Roots Denig   April 3, 2023 at 6:30pm

yes, every year will be harder if your ratings are high enough.

Charles Blacknall II    April 3, 2023 at 12:18pm

So, I got my email invite but is there a code or something on the 12th I need to enter when I sign up? Or Do I just sign up here and someone will cross-reference the invite list later?

John Birkrem   April 3, 2023 at 12:25pm

the system cross references you against the invite list posted on the registration page.

Looking for one more person that would like to split a Airbnb. I'm looking to get a private house or condo that has a pool.
