About this tournament
Welcome to Cold Garden's Limber Open 2023!
We are stoked to be back for our second year, hosting our disc golf family with a bigger and better tournament! We are excited to present the tournament this year with the local and iconic Cold Garden Brewing! Cannot emphasize enough how much this tournament needs sponsors like Blake and Dan at Cold Garden to make this thing work! Thank you!
This year the tournament will be held over two epic days. The first day will have two rounds and the second one round. We will be playing at two courses: WJ Homestead and Lloyd Park. We'd like to thank these courses for having us! Make sure you support these guys however you can! Start times and round descriptions will be coming soon.
We will be welcoming family, friends, fans and those who are curious about the scene to come out and cheer along. Cold Garden will be setting up a Beer Gardens at Lloyd Park for certain hours and the atmosphere is sure to be memorable. More details to come.
Would like to shout out Nate Bourgeault for his awesome drawing and design for the posters and everything to come of it! Be sure the triple foil stamped disc that comes in the players pack will be great! Thanks Nate.
Pro Divisions:
- 85% of entry fees going towards payouts. Player's pack excludes disc, but can be purchased for an additional fee upon registration.
Amateur Divisions:
- Will receive player's pack above value to entry fee
- Event stamped disc included in player's pack
- a sick Diameter Apparel jersey included in player's pack
Check in and player packs pick-up will be Friday, Sept 15th at Limber Disc Golf. Hours 11-7pm.
Please note that WJ Homestead does not permit alcohol or smoking on the course. There will be a designated smoking area near the parking lot.
As part of the registration fees, $5 from each entry will be donated to the Calgary Disc Golf Club to continue building the community in Calgary!
