Josh Juncal was an amazing Father and friend. Since his passing in 2021, we have missed his energy, positive vibes and wanted to keep this memorial going in his honor to enjoy the spirit of competition he loved so much.

< SIGN UP INFO >
• Limited to 90 players for shotgun start (5 players/card x 18 holes)
• Signup on Disc Golf Scene.com
• Signup opens on September 1 @ 8pm
• Women's divisions receive a $10 discount at sign up
• IMPORTANT NOTE: If a division does not have four or more players registered, the Tournament Director reserves the right to consolidate divisions. You will be contacted if this impacts you.

• Round #1 @ WELK RESORT in Escondido
• Round #2 @ REIDY CREEK in Escondido
• "True Amateur" PDGA C-Tier Event with Pro & Amateur Divisions.
• All Divisions play 2 rounds / 18 holes per round. One on Saturday, one on Sunday.
• This is not a So Cal Event
• Rounds are walking only. No golf carts. If you have a medical condition which requires use of a cart, please go through PDGA for proper approvals prior to the Tournament.
• Shotgun Start Format - This means that all Divisions will start on different holes at the same time. We plan on teeing off at 8am and anticipate 3-3.5 hour rounds both days. We will have a short players meeting each day at 7:30, so please plan on being to the course around 7:15 at the latest to allow time for parking, warm up, attending player's meeting, etc. Arriving late will only cause you to have a stressful round. If you arrive late to start, you will be scored per PDGA Section 811.F.5 "Misplay".
• Optional Ace Pot will be offered @ $5. It will be split amongst all those that hit ACES! If not hit, the money will be donated to local animal shelter.
• All Players will receive an event sticker.
• Amateur player packs being developed and this section will be updated with contents at a later time.
< TEE SIGNS / PRO PURSE SPONSORSHIP >
• Tee Sign Sponsorships available at $25/sign. Sponsors may keep signs following tournament. Sponsorship proceeds will go towards Pro Purse and are non-refundable.
• Pro Purse Cash Donations are always welcome! Depending on donation amount, we
can include a banner, etc.
< AWARDS & TIE BREAKERS >
• Amateur's will be playing for trophies only.
• Pro's will be playing for cash and trophies.
• All pro divisions will be paid in cash minus the greens fee & PDGA fees will be taken out of each player's net entry.
• Trophies will be given per PDGA "True Amatuer" Guidelines
• Pro Payouts will be done within 2 days after event, electronically. Payout Table will be distributed prior to event as well as posted to PDGA website.
• Ties for First Place Trophies & Pro Cash: In the case of a tie for first place, players
will be required, per PDGA Competition Manual, Section 1.09 "Ties", to play a sudden-
death playoff.
• Playoff Hole to be utilized to break 1st place ties ONLY in ALL Divisions. Playoff will
be determined by sudden death playoff starting at a temporary Hole #19, then to
normal Hole #18, then back to Hole #19 and so non until a winner is determined.
Cash awards for remaining Pro Division finishers shall be split per PDGA guidelines,
no playoffs other than for 1st place.
• Ties for 2nd & 3rd Place Trophies ONLY: In the case of a tie for second or third
place, players will play a tie-breaker for trophy by throwing for a CTP on Hole #19 near
the clubhouse.
< REIDY CREEK PERMANENT TEE SIGN FUND >
• We are applying $1/player towards the Reidy Creek Permanent Tee Sign Fund.
< WAITLIST >
• Waitlist fully refundable minus transaction fees.
• Once we send a waitlist invite, you have 36 hours to respond or your spot will be
forfeited to the next player in line.
< PARKING >
• Welk Resort – Multiple Parking lots adjacent to course
• Reidy Creek – First come, first serve parking lot at golf course. Overflow parking is
available across the street at Jesmond Dean Park
