Thanks so much for choosing to play the Jonesboro Open! Here is all the information you need regarding this incredible weekend.

Thursday, April 27th: Player pack pick up 12:00pm-6:00pm at Craighead Forest.

Friday, April 28th:

-Player pack pick up 9:00am-2:00pm at Craighead Forest.

AN ALL DIGITAL EVENT:
There will no be "board" for this event. All scores, hole assignments, start times, ect will be on the PDGA event page. Your starting hole/tee time will be posted each night.

Score Keeping:
Each card will have 2 players keeping score. One person will be keeping score on the PDGA digital scoring page. Second card can be kept on the PDGA digital scoring, as well.

EVERY CARD MUST KEEP A DIGITAL SCORE CARD! DON'T FORGET TO FINALIZE YOUR SCORE ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER!

ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN:

In an effort to maximize the value returned to all players, this event will meet criteria for a “true amateur” event and therefore will be trophy-only. Winners will be contacted and sent their trophy. Top 3 per division. While there will be no traditional payouts, the players’ pack items will be of significant value.

OB will be listed on the digital scoring page or in the official email sent to all registered competitors. Please read the OB before you throw a hole. If you have any questions about how to play a hole, play your provisional and bring it back to us after the round.

WAITLIST

You will receive a reminder after 48 hours of being promoted to the registration list, and if I don't hear back within the next day, we'll go onto the next person. Waitlist fees are not refundable.

Some divisions that are capped will potentially have more space opened if other divisions in their pool do not fill up*

Several questions regarding not playing the Rec Course this year. Here are the details:

Each year as the tournament grows, we have to add more things to Tournament Central. Tournament Central is a small area, and with more spectators, more media, larger warmup area, more food vendors, etc, space is at a premium. When we run the AM Side on the Rec Course, that adds 72 players and their spectators to that cramped area. The Pro Side has just become too big to handle that and the AM Side running on the property at the same time. (This is a good thing)

Our choices were to move the AM Side to a different weekend like many other DGPT events do, or to move the AMs off of the Rec Side. Either way, people would not have been happy.

We chose to keep it the same weekend and to run the Flex starts on the Rec Side. By doing this, it will help keep the congestion down. This gives you the option of playing the Rec Side if you want to, without forcing 72 players teeing off at the same time.
