Is there any chance of moving the start time for shotgun start today? Seems like all of the rain will be past us by 10:00, i know i’d wait an hour to have no rain, just a thought!

What kind of heavy rain/lightning delays can we expect for Saturday and Sunday? Is there a chance that all play will be canceled if the heavy rain/lighting does not subdue?

With Florida weather we will know more on Friday but if there is lightning and it doesn't go away we will cancel for the rest of that day and resume on Sunday.

What were the qualifications for invites? I had good placements in 2 b-tier tournaments in MA2 this year but didn't get an invite #233336

The only qualification this year is your PDGA rating. The highest rated players in each division were sent invites in waves.

Good Afternoon,
I hate to point it out because the weather can change everyday in Florida. But, the forecast is not great to say the least for this weekend. 65%-90% chance of T-storms, rain and 20+mph winds pretty consistently. I am travelling from 4 hours away so I just wanted to see what the policy or plan would be if the weather doesn't clear up?
Even if it's "playable" by some people's definitions, I might rather just want to spend time with family at home around ...

As long as there is no lightning we will be playing. I understand your position as I have been in the same one when I travel to play but the refund policy does not change due to the chance of rain.

Understood - I just don't know a lot about the course. I didn't know if flooding would play a factor or not as well. If I do decide to withdraw, the options are 25% or the player's pack correct? Thank you for your response!

Two questions:
Are the pins currently in the placements that they will be for the tournament?
And probably asked&answered but my rating is definitely going to be going over the 900 threshold for MA3 - we are honoring the 2 week period and I will still be able to compete in my division and not have to move up to MA2, correct?

2 week period is being honored. We will need to officially clear it with PDGA but yes.

Unfortunately there won't be an open registration period. If you had played one tournament in ma3 you would have received an invitation in MA3. Thank you for your interest in the Championship. Hope to see you next year.

What happens if the division doesn’t have enough players to make a card?
I understand. IF we have to go that route the last tee time would be at 11:04am so no one would actually tee of late in the day. The decision hasn't been made but so far the plan is shotgun.
