Welcome to the 2023 CPC!
We’re going to start with the Thank You’s!
Thank you to the CNYDGA. A lot of unsung heroes out there getting stuff done for the community, including course improvements (I know ya’ll love that stone in those muddy spots!), fund raising, top notch tournaments, etc.
I’d like to thank our Title Sponsor: Interstate Batteries of Central NY for putting up the $750 added cash for Pro divisions
Tournament sponsors: Dynamic Disc, The Pies Guys, Rapid Rivers Disc Golf, Play it Again Sports. These guys take the tournament experience to another level! Lots of extras from these places. Be sure to thank them by giving them your business.
A huge thank you to our hole sponsors. Added revenue helps out a TD more than you know.

A huge Thank you to the Clay Clean up crew Trip and The weekend Leaguers, The Courbat Twins, and those who helped that I don’t know about. Thanks Brandon Taylor for the circles! Really nice touch!
Karin Falcone Thank you for an awesome design for the custom stamp! Ryan Appleton for bringing it to life on the trophies, my fellow CNYDGA Board members Greg, KC, Steve, and Trip for all the support, and Jeff Gilbert for hauling the store to the tournament for AM payouts.
I know I’ve forgotten people. For that I am sorry. It takes a village and we got a good one here.
Down to business:
Tournament Central:
There was an overbooking of pavilions at Clay Park this year and we did not get a pavilion. Tournament Central will be in the Lot by 17 wests basket (same side of the park as usual off Henry Clay BLVD). We have some tents (Thank you Bobby Virginia, Dave and Debbie Lewis of Interstate Batteries) some tables and chairs. It is highly recommended that you bring a chair for yourself, and perhaps a pop up tent if you have one.

The morning round will be followed by lunch, and then an afternoon round. The AMs will receive a custom stamped Moonshine Trespass, a travel coffee mug, and a chance to play for divisional trophies and CNYDGA store credit. When you get to your hole first horn will be the 2 min warning, 2nd horn will be start it up. Please participate in getting the word out.
3 mins max for lost discs. Use spotters on blind shots. The courses are in great shape but the rough is rough. We’ve had plenty of sun and rain to make that happen. You need to keep moving. You can always go back and look after.
Live scoring only players to record hole scores in real-time at pdga.com/score so fans and spectators can follow along at pdga.com/live
Access Code : CPC2023
Please make sure your entire card verifies the scores before you submit. Once your scores are in they’re in. no exceptions.
Bad storm? I’ll blow the horn to bring it in, Spread the word if you hear it. Please be ready by the schedule start times.
Cards will be posted late tomorrow evening. I am looking forward to yet another amazing Clay Park Classic!
