Hello everyone.
Unfortunately, after speaking with Kevin up at Buxton and attempting to get up there myself, we have come to the difficult decision of cancelling this event entirely.
First off the road up to Buxton remains extremely icy and it will not be getting any warmer than 36 degrees up there so it’s not melting. The parking lot is also iced over.

Currently it is pretty bad. I just spoke with Kevin Strand up at Buxton and he advised I don’t try and come out today. And to wait til tomorrow late morning. I will be providing a road/course update as soon as I get up there.

I just noticed that there isn't a schedule posted, and I couldn't find it in either of the emails. What time is check in and first round tee times?

What is the rule on having someone walk with you around the course? Would they be considered a Caddy?

Hello there!
Unfortunately, due to the weather, we will be postponing Stumptown Slosh #3 to the next Saturday, January 20th, 2023. The schedule, layout, divisions, and all other aspects of the tournament will function exactly as it would have. I will be sending out another player info email before the event. i have pasted the layout below in case anyone needs a refresher for the coming week.

Daniel, I also hope the tournament stays an option for those who want to play. I know this isn't Minnesota...but tournaments weren't cancelled and it was up to the player to decide if playing in the weather was the responsible decision for them. Next weekend is SeaTac Tree Smack so I would ... more

Just going to throw it out there: Next weekend, the high temperature is in the low 20s, and there's a decent chance of snow. Are you guys considering canceling this event? Thanks!

Too bad! I was hoping to keep it going! I was out there today shoveling tee pads. Definitely playable with a little effort.. but better safe than sorry!
