Can you move me from waitlist and put me in FP55. Thanks

Andrew Sweeton   April 21, 2022 at 12:21pm

Yup, I'll be doing the World Champion spots today.

Sandy Gast   April 21, 2022 at 12:50pm

Thank you Andrew I can't even sign up to go to the ball park when you are on the waitlist

Andrew Sweeton   April 21, 2022 at 1:10pm

I have moved you in so you can go back in and add whatever you need. Sorry for the inconvenience, but better to save your spot, right?

Sherry Herzog    April 21, 2022 at 11:59am

Why are there more am spots reserved and not more pro spots?

Pam(ouflage) Reineke   April 21, 2022 at 12:02pm

Good question. Fp65 only has two spots available

Andrew Sweeton   April 21, 2022 at 12:21pm

There are a total of 33 reserved spots for 26 World Champions (some were invited to multiple divisions.) They have until May 18 to get registered and if not done so by then, the spots are returned to the pool. Today I'll be releasing spots from World Champions who have already registered.

Christine Huestis   April 21, 2022 at 3:29am

Thank you, it finally worked. My name was not appearing as an option, then it finally did....I'm in :)

Andrew Sweeton   April 21, 2022 at 3:31am

Yay!! That was quick work, nice job!

Sheila Kirkham    April 20, 2022 at 2:19pm

You don't have FP50 on registration sign up.

Todd Lion   April 20, 2022 at 2:22pm

FP50 is an available division and is in the registration options.

Chris Dierkens    April 20, 2022 at 4:59am

Will a registration open for Mixed Doubles? if so, where should we look for that and when will the registration open?

Mike Sullivan   April 20, 2022 at 5:00am

Masters Worlds does Divisional Doubles, and it will be an add-on to registration. See Big Dog's responses to Brenda's post, below.

Rob McNeal    April 20, 2022 at 1:36am

Doubles on Saturday listed Northwood as the park for Pro and AM. Is MP40 playing Black?

Any details on the skills competitions. Will these be broken down by division or just open competition? Is there any “swag” for participating? Any other details you can share?

What is the best guess for the time window on Sunday, July 10th to participate in field events? I will be travelling in that day and want to plan appropriately. Thanks.

John Birkrem   April 18, 2022 at 2:31am

you will notice on the published course schedule the field events are from 9a-3p

John Lakenan   April 18, 2022 at 8:16pm

Thank you. I looked but missed that detail.

I have a question, are all Amateur Worlds held in the US or will they be/ or have been in other countries too ?

Andrew Sweeton   April 16, 2022 at 7:51pm

To date they have all been in the US, but that is not a requirement. The 1987 Pro Worlds was in Toronto, Canada. Hopefully in the future we will receive bids for Worlds outside of the US.

Rick Rey   April 16, 2022 at 8:09pm

Thanks Big Dog appreciate the response yes the sport has grown so much with many countries having great courses and venues. Have a Good day!

Andrew Sweeton   April 16, 2022 at 9:21pm

You too Rick!

I'm looking for a doubles partner on the AM side.

Andrew Sweeton   April 17, 2022 at 12:05pm

Not necessarily. For Doubles, both members of a team must be eligible for the division that the team competes in. So for example, lets say you are an amateur female age 40-49, and your partner is an amateur male age 40-49. Your team would need to compete in MA40 as it is the only division your pa ... more

I found a partner

Andrew Sweeton   April 19, 2022 at 7:12pm

great!

John Lakenan    April 15, 2022 at 4:43pm

Is it a reasonable assumption that the Sunset Hills layout will be the same as what is used for Ledgestone and shown here: https://ledgestoneopen.com/event/2021/guide/sunset-hills.pdf

Nate Heinold   April 15, 2022 at 4:57pm

Yes, that is reasonable!

John Lakenan   April 15, 2022 at 5:32pm

Perfect. Thanks for the quick response and everything you do for the sport of disc golf. We appreciate you @Nate Heinold

Will Plein   April 20, 2022 at 10:34pm

Thanks Chris, Will take you up on it.

Brandon Kohl    April 5, 2022 at 12:42am

844 spots with 6900 invites, is this an error? Will there be more than 844 spots? Worlds should have at least 100 ppl per division.. ex. MA40 should have 144 spots per PDGA website and here it only has 68. Am I missing something?

As John said, the spots we have on DGS are for international registration and will be adjusted as the process moves along. As for the total spots in the event, as far as I can tell, this will be the largest Master Worlds ever.
