Looks like things will still be open for practice rounds. It is the nature of a private course, sometimes things do not fall fully in our control. There are not many people signed up for the flex current so I anticipate minimal interference if at all.

Aside from the points Scott and Kyle have laid out, this has been run in both formats as a B/XB Tier since at least '04. I do see how this affects those of you that would not rather sign up with the PDGA each year and how that has affected this event. The folks who have voiced their concerns mean a lot to me, and it does affect us personally when we won't or potentially won't see you there. I apologize for inconveniences it may have created. The sport grows faster than I can keep up with sometimes, which is good and has aspects that are certainly not appealing to many. Bottom line, if you can't make it because of the new PDGA requirements, you'll be missed but I understand. And maybe a different solution can be discussed in the future.

I’ve done nothing but offer a refund based on your clear distaste for the rules that we are just abiding by. Your behavior and what appears to be a vague threat is unacceptable for an adult who disagrees with a TD decision. These rules have been in place since January, this event has been listed as a B tier since at least March, today after registration opened is not the time to bring up your objections.

I’m with Kyle. He puts an incredible amount of time in to plan and execute tournaments for all of us. Give him some respect and either sign up for the tourney that is set up the way it should be, by the rules, or don’t.
