Hey Nate. I rated out of MA2 (936) #122880 and am hoping I can get moved up to MA1. I know the staff is busy so just wanted to make the written request here. I tried to move on my end but it wants to throw me to the waitlist.

I did not see any practice time mentioned for camp kearney. I see it is not generally open to the public and did not see anything on the practice schedule page. was hoping there may be access there as well?

Is there an ETA on when the basket pins/locations will match the caddy guide for ICC and Maxwell?

Maxwell pin positions are good. The only changes are a short tee on 3 and 18.

I've never been to the Midwest, can any locals give any insights to the weather in August. Is that humidity really brutal? And does it mostly rain at night? Expect wind? Do and don't wear? Also Poison oak? Thanks

Usually we average 80°-90° more close to 80°. And no it doesn't mostly rain at night. Just keep a watch on the weather when we get a little closer to the event. I tent camp for the tournament cause I'm 2 hours north and usually have a regular blanket at night while sleeping. And the humidity isn't as bad as people say it is especially during August it'll be decent.

I was there a few weeks ago (Masters Worlds) and of the 5 days - It was clear for 4 of them and poured on us for one day. It was pretty warm that week. Wind will depend somewhat on the course you are at but ours wasn't terrible.

Can I simply get a yes or no? The long winded essay explanation on the FAQ page is about the worst way you can explain course availability. The goal should be able to read something in 5 minutes and be able to completely understand course availability...

I bought a VIP pass for the event. If I decide to play in MA50, do I still need the VIP pass to spectate after a round or does the player pass cover that?

You will still need a spectator pass. They are offering a discounted spectator pass for tournament players. But, I believe that VIP is separate from that.

Basically you get all your money back but $10 as long as a waitlist member fills it, which is likely the case.

Is the McNaughton Layout playing considerable shorter this year? If caddy guid from this year and my PDGA scorecard from last year are correct. It has McNaughton playing at almost 750 feet shorter this year.

I wasn't asking what would happen, Joshua. I've read that FAQ and know i'm guarenteed a spot. I'm wondering if the switch could be made immediately in an effort to get random, unfamiliar players to stop facebook messaging me asking when I'm going to move up. People are badgering me and I want to be added to the MA1 reg as quick as possible. Thanks for your suggestion though.
Ah, I asked if there was a date a week or so ago and was told there was not a set date when they would shuffle everyone. I know Nate is the TD for DGLO this weekend so i'd assume it might be done after that.

It will likely get taken care of after August 7th when registration closes as that will have the least interference with waitlists and who did/didn’t get in the tourney.
