2022 Blackhawk Basket Bash

This is going to be a SHOTGUN START event, benefitting the Sandoval High School eSports team, coached by local supporter, Marvin Lindsay. Thank you for supporting everything I'm affiliated with, it is absolutely my pleasure to support your kiddos.

eSports played a very important role in my life for many years. I have coached and led organizations, and competed as well. To this day I enjoy discussing the greatest LoL plays and its historic players. I lived for Gears of War and many other titles throughout my childhood, including Sonic the Hedgehog and The Legend of Zelda speed runs.

Anyway here's some EVENT details:

All Pro Divisions will play Champ Side twice
All Masters Divisions will play Champ Side twice.
All Advanced divisions will play Champ Side twice
All Intermediate Divisions will play Rec Side twice
All Rec Divisions will play Rec Side twice
All Novice Divisions will play Rec Side twice
All Age-Restricted Junior Divisions will play Rec Side twice

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR DIVISION MUST HAVE 3 PLAYERS TO HAVE A TROPHY
IF YOUR DIVISION DOES NOT HAVE 3 PLAYERS, YOU MAY COMPETE IN ANY OTHER DIVISION WITH 3 OR MORE PLAYERS, PROVIDED YOU QUALIFY FOR THAT DIVISION.

EXCLUSIONS TO THIS STATEMENT APPLY TO AGE RESTRICTED JUNIOR DIVISIONS AND FEMALE DIVISIONS.

ALL JUNIOR DIVISIONS AND FEMALE DIVISIONS WILL BE CONSULTED PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT, PLEASE CHECK IN WITH ME PRIOR TO WARMING UP

ONLY MP40+ AND MA40+ DIVISIONS WILL BE OFFERED.

Per PDGA Competition Manual rules, you are allowed to play in your desired division(provided you qualify for said division) if you are able to bring the unlisted division to 3 or more competitors.

I do plan to play in this event, so I will not be setting up anything major at Tournament HQ, and will not be monitoring my phone very closely during the rounds. Please read your competition manuals and be aware of any and all rulings. Disc Golf is an honor sport. I'll clarify any weird rulings or questionable OBs, but I can't be everywhere all at once for a small event. I appreciate everyone's cooperation in this regard.

PRIZING:

No Voucher Payouts for this event. This event is TROPHY ONLY for AM divisions. Trophy payouts will follow PDGA True Am regulations for Trophy Only events. The event will reserve $3 per player for Capital Expenditures.

Professional divisions will reserve $10 per player to be distributed across Capital Expenditures and to be donated to the Sandoval High School Blackhawks eSports Organization.

Mikey Beal is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

REFUND TIMELINE:

Refund requests sent AFTER the following date will be subject to a 50% refund:
March 5th, 2022

Full refunds will be available until the week prior to the event.
