Hello again -- it's your favorite Waitlist #1 guy.

Just wondering if there is anyone in the MP40 (already in) that knows they are gonna drop tomorrow AM, or isn't gonna make check in or maybe eve on the fence.

I am in North Idaho and have not been back to BSF since 2014 and am really excited about the opportunity to play.

SO much so, that I am willing to drive tonight on the CHANCE, or even tomorrow AM if necessary, but it would be super cool of any of you Masters tha ... more

Waiting List 1 is one of the hardest places to be 6 hours away. Good luck to everyone already in!

What times are the MP40s going off on Saturday?

Jesse Tomaino   June 9, 2022 at 9:03pm

The same range all three days.

Mike Smith    June 8, 2022 at 4:26pm

Does anyone know how long the course will stay in BSF setup?

Kilion Haas   June 8, 2022 at 5:04pm

Likely just for the event. There are several basket placements that threaten parking so the park will want them reverted to the standard layout for normal operations.

Steve Boveri   June 8, 2022 at 8:49pm

Yep, usually by the Monday after it's back to the normal 27 layout

Cindy McMahan    June 7, 2022 at 1:30pm

I was planning on picking up my player pack tomorrow at All Day Disc Golf & just wanted to check to see if that was still an option.

Exactly!

Cindy McMahan   June 9, 2022 at 2:18am

OK I lied. One more question. Do both east & west tee off from home 1?

Jesse Tomaino   June 9, 2022 at 4:42am

Yes. All rounds will start at hole 1 of the respective courses.

colleen sharkey    June 6, 2022 at 7:48pm

Hey Jessie, I just sent a request to change my registration from FA40 to FA50. Hopefully you can make that happen. ????

Done! Thank you!

Cindy McMahan   June 6, 2022 at 11:47pm

Awesome we are a card of 4 again! Looking forward to playing with you Colleen.

What are players packs looking like?

Jesse Tomaino   June 5, 2022 at 4:34am

Super sweet! I would divulge details now but I don't want to forget anything.

Alexander Petzold   June 5, 2022 at 4:41am

Very excite

John Ollis    June 2, 2022 at 3:38am

I am in mp40. If I wanted to bring a caddie do they have to pay the spectator fee?

Jesse Tomaino   June 2, 2022 at 4:21am

Every player will get a caddie. All player and caddie credentials also function as GA tickets to spectate the MPO/FPO field.

The next stage of the Fling’s course Set Up is scheduled June 4-5, a week from now and we need your help to get it all ready!
We'll be meeting at the tourney central parking lot - Lot B, 10am

until 3pm each day- then home to watch some MPO coverage?
note This is also the Portland Open weekend.

Saturday June 4- help the DGPT to install their course assets at Milo East and West courses.

Will the course still be open to play?

Josh Warner    May 28, 2022 at 1:19pm

If there's not enough players to make a card (4) in a division, what happens?
Do the available spots open up in the largest division?

Jesse Tomaino   May 28, 2022 at 6:15pm

No divisions will be eliminated because of the number of players and spots will not be reallocated to other divisions. Mixed cards are not appropriate for this level of event unless absolutely necessary.

Josh Warner    May 27, 2022 at 1:39pm

I was unaware that amateur women over 50 was a division. Learn something new every day

andrew wolverton   May 28, 2022 at 7:14pm

There is also a division for amateur women 55+, 60+, 65+, and 70+ -- it's all on the PDGA website, you should check it out.

Cindy McMahan   May 28, 2022 at 9:27pm

^^This right here. I am one of those over 50 Am Women. Lots of us old gals playing in PDGA tournaments :) ^^

Josh Warner   May 29, 2022 at 5:49am

Awesome

Jesse Tomaino    May 25, 2022 at 6:51pm

If you haven't received a player info email yet please check that you used a valid email address when signing up and your inbox isn't full. I've had several kicked back to me.

Is it possible to get a rough idea of when divisions will tee off before official tee times are posted?

So age protected Am women would be early morning?

Jesse Tomaino   June 4, 2022 at 12:49am

Yes. FA50 will be the second card out, following MA60.

Cindy McMahan   June 4, 2022 at 2:48am

Cool thanks Jesse! That really helps with planning!

Shawn Barnett    May 23, 2022 at 4:00pm

Hey there, will we be play the 27 or the easy and west 18?

Jesse Tomaino   May 23, 2022 at 4:06pm

All 36 holes will be in for the BSF. The non-DGPT side will play West twice and East once.

Shawn Barnett   May 23, 2022 at 4:16pm

Thank you!

Josh Warner    May 23, 2022 at 1:08am

Need 1 person from ma1 to drop out. C'mon man. Maybe one of the higher rated players lol

Scot Ranney    May 22, 2022 at 9:41pm

I noticed the "about" tab said caddy book/course layout would be available May 10 but I'm not sure where to get it. I didn't get anything in email.

Jesse Tomaino   May 22, 2022 at 10:01pm

All of those dates in the About section are incorrect. I think the DGPT copy and pasted from another event without adjusting the dates. Caddie book is being finalized now and will be sent to players soon.

Scot Ranney   May 22, 2022 at 10:39pm

Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open. Which courses will MA50 be playing? I haven't played Milo yet and will be probably be visiting before the caddy book is out.

Jesse Tomaino   May 23, 2022 at 12:05am

Everyone will play both courses. The non-DGPT divisions will play the west course twice. 27 of the 36 holes are in at Milo and the remaining 9 will go in the Monday before the event.

Greg MacKnight    May 9, 2022 at 11:16pm

Hello Flingers, we need your help to get Milo McIver primped and primed for the Pro tour! Sunday, May 22. Meet 9:30am in east parking lot to spread bark chips, and groom these courses from tees to greens! Course beautification work party- bring gloves, water and friends to make the best day of it.
If you have any questions about this or other BSF volunteer opportunities, reach out: [email redacted]. Thank you!
