The New Orleans Disc Golf Club presents the 2021 Pot of Gold Sponsored by Latitude 64 at Lafreniere Park in Metairie and Parc des Familles in Marrero! PDGA sanctioned B-tier event with at least $2000 added to the pro purse.
Lafreniere Park will be split into the traditional Pot of Gold format of two 18 hole courses for the Am divisions. Pro divisions will play two rounds of 18 at Parc des Familles. Must have a minimum of 3 players to make a division. Non-PDGA members must pay an extra $10.00. $11 from each entry will go towards Jefferson Parish Park and PDGA fees.
AM Players packs will include a dry-fit Tournament T-Shirt, custom stamped Tournament disc, quick-dry towel, sunglasses, reusable scorecard, and clip board
Full-color plaques for the champions of every division and for 2nd & 3rd in every amateur division! This is a trophy only event for Ams. Pros will be paid out via paypal.

Early access registration will be open for tournament sponsors with a $20 or higher donation. For additional sponsorship information, please contact the Club President, Alan Kansas.
Regular registration will open on February 12th.
You must register by Feb 22nd to get the dry-fit Tournament T-shirt.
Once the tournament is filled up, a waitlist will be started. The TD reserves the right to add any player off the waitlist.
Ace pot sign up will only be offered through the online registration. No exceptions. No day of Ace pot sign up. Ace Pot will be paid out to the winner(s) via paypal. If no Ace is hit, a 1 disc throw off will determine the winner. Ace pot will be separated for players playing at Lafreniere vs. PDF. (i.e. Pros will have their own acepot.)

4:30 Approximately--- End of tournament, trophy pick up and payout
Approximately 1.5 hours will be allowed between rounds. Second round tee times will be announced real-time via the Noteam Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/397246150459368/
Online scoring will be done through the PDGA Official Scoring app at pdga.com/score and its use is MANDATORY (designate one player to keep score the whole round) paper scorecards will only be provided as a backup. Players will check in virtually via the PDGA scoring app website.
Players meeting information, along with the access code, will be sent to all players electronically via email before the tournament. No day of players meeting.
Players packs for AMs will be issued the morning of the tournament via drive up and drive off. No walk ups allowed, drive through only. Please try to arrive early enough to get your players pack and be ready to tee off for 9:00. Player pack pick up will stop at 8:45 am. Player pack pick up will be in the parking lot near shelter 6 (tournament headquarters for previous POG).
Due to the CoronaVirus, no food nor water will be provided for the tournament. Make sure you bring what you need to stay hydrated and healthy.
We will not be able to hold an award ceremony or raffle. After the tournament, the winners will need to pick up their trophy. If you finish in one of the paid spots please do not leave until you receive your payout. Please have your phone handy so we can contact if needed. Pros will be paid via Paypal and can leave anytime. 1st place of Pro division wins a trophy plaque. 1st - 3rd of all am divisions win a trophy plaque. Complete Payout will be posted the day of the tournament.

Pot of Gold Disc Golf Tournament Social Distancing and Site Plan
This is a disc golf tournament where traditionally players pick up their player’s packs, attend a players meeting, compete in a disc golf tournament, and then attend an awards ceremony. Many guidelines and suggestions have been published by the Professional Disc Golf Association in accordance with the WHO and CDC. These changes are reflected in the Social Distancing and Site Plan below.
Player Check in- Players will virtually check-in to the tournament using the PDGA website. Payer packs will be distributed between 7:00 am and 8:45 at shelter 6. Please do not enter the taped off section of shelter and maintain an appropriate distance apart while in line. If a player does not get their items during this check in time, they may get it after the first or second round
Players Meeting and tournament information- There will be no players meeting or mass gatherings during the tournament. All tournament information will be distributed electronically to all players prior to the start of the event and also posted to the New Orleans Disc Golf Club Facebook page. Any required updates will be posted to the Facebook page or emailed to the participants.
Tournament Play- Only five players per card. Players will report to their pre-designated holes and be ready to tee-off by 9:00. Players must maintain 6 ft. or more distance from each other. Players should not touch discs, bags, carts, or any other property belonging to another player. Players are authorized to have one person caddy for them if needed. No additional spectators are allowed to follow along with the groups. Once scores are finalized and submitted, players will leave the course immediately to take a lunch break and prepare to start their second round. Approximately 1.5 hours will be allowed between rounds. Official tee times will be posted to the event facebook page for each respective pool of participants. Participants will be responsible to bring and control their own food and water for the entire day. Players will again report to their designated starting hole at the specified time for the second round.
Scoring- One player in each group will take score using the PDGA digital scoring website. This method of scoring will reduce the amount of contact between people and expedite scoring for the tournament. A paper copy will be issued with the player items only as a backup due to cell phone signal loss or low battery.
Trophies and Awards- There will be no award ceremony for this tournament. Pro players will be paid their winnings via paypal. Winning players will pick up their trophy on the way to their vehicles. The winning players will maintain social distancing of no less than 6ft apart from each other and only one person at a time will retrieve their items while the Tournament Director verifies the winners.
Waiver- All participants will have to agree to the above and this waiver in order to participate in the tournament.
