I would suggest that perhaps if you are the Grand Prize winner and your "caddy" does not appear to actually be your caddy, you will not be the Grand Prize winner come Sunday...

Kevin Fodrey   June 7, 2021 at 4:56pm

We can partner with other players, not just caddies correct?

John Minicuci   June 7, 2021 at 6:05pm

Yes

MAY PDGA RATINGS UPDATE: Due to the event selling out and a full 50 on the Wait List, the staff and PDGA have discussed suspending the remainder of the invitations. There is no need to continue inviting players to a sold out event. In addition, the 2022 USADGC Qualifying Process will be revisited after the 2021 event has concluded and we will post it on the USADGC.com website as soon as it is approved.

To date, we have 37 players on the wait list and have issued 20 refunds already. If you are on the wait list, please follow the event and your email closely in the next few weeks.

John Minicuci    Sticky April 22, 2021 at 2:54am

Thank you all for registering for the wait list. We are working on a post addressing the refund policy for all wait list players as the event nears. It will be posted here in the Comments.

As refunds get processed and wait list spots open, feel free to sign up when space becomes available if you are not already on the wait list.

Tip for those from other states: Skip the park entrance toll booth lines and come in through dirt Buno Rd. Don't miss your tee time!
I've heard of backup reports on the entrances of 30-60minutes on the weekend. The booth by the course (hole 6/7) will likely be open so it's not a free pass too get in still, but much shorter line.

Thank you Ben, great reminder!

Matt Bates    June 10, 2021 at 10:58pm

Missed player check in. Will I still be able to check in at Holdens?

Mark Stephens   June 10, 2021 at 11:15pm

You can get your photo. Player package tomorrow.

brad chartier    June 9, 2021 at 11:45pm

When do you want the Saturday spotters to show up??

John Minicuci   June 10, 2021 at 4:08am

Brad, It really depends on what hole you are spotting on. In the online SignUp, these times were listed by each hole: Hole 1 7:10am Hole 2 7:10am Hole 3 7:10am Hole 4 7:10am Hole 5 7:10am Hole 6 7:10am Hole 7 7:30am Hole 9 8:00am Flex Spotters 8:00am Hole 11 8:00am Hole 13 8:00am Hole 15 8:30am Hole 17 8:30am Food Attendant 10:30am

brad chartier   June 10, 2021 at 10:56am

Huh, must have missed the online sign up. I can be there at 7:10 thanks

Scott M    June 9, 2021 at 1:58pm

Can caddies bring a dog on a leash? We have a husky that is well-behaved on a leash, has no interest in chasing discs, and never makes a sound. All I found was that animals are not allowed to be used as a carrying device.

Mark Stephens   June 9, 2021 at 2:22pm

PDGA Rule 3.01.D is where you need to look. Dogs will not be allowed.

Anthony Wasyl    June 8, 2021 at 8:01pm

then how is that a qualifier for this years Am Nats??

Mark Stephens   June 9, 2021 at 11:33am

It wasn’t. That is my point. He don’t need to call anyone or anything. It will just carry over.

Anthony Wasyl   June 9, 2021 at 12:01pm

Okay I just wanted to make sure it's going to carry over :) thanks guys

Owen McCall    June 8, 2021 at 12:56pm

Will the course be closed for practice rounds during the Beat the Beast?

Mark Stephens   June 8, 2021 at 1:01pm

No. Both can easily be going on at the same time as the course is closed for only the players.

Kris Woody    June 7, 2021 at 8:27pm

Is there traditionally last minute dropouts? Currently sitting #3 on the waitlist wondering if I still have a chance of playing the tournament. Also when is the cutoff for waitlist players to get in? Thank you

will the layout for the event be longs only? or a mix of longs and shorts like the past am events?

John Minicuci   June 7, 2021 at 6:56pm

The 2021 USADGC layout will be as follows: All long tee pads except hole 17.

Benjamin McMullen    June 7, 2021 at 2:15pm

Is there a Udisc layout to look at? Is it the 2021 MPO layout but short tee on 17?

Mark Stephens   June 7, 2021 at 2:27pm

We do not utilize UDisc so there is nothing official on that platform.

Josh Taylor    June 7, 2021 at 2:14pm

If we cannot make it to the meeting/dinner Thursday night, can we check in and get player’s package at the course on Friday?

Thank You

Mark I won’t be able to make it on Thursday, is there any way I can send you guys a picture or something so I can get my pic on the buzzz??

Mark Stephens   June 7, 2021 at 6:22pm

We are not offering that as an option. You must check in on Thursday or come to the meeting.

Ben Picard    June 6, 2021 at 10:01pm

Will players on the waitlist be allowed practice along with the rest of the field? Will caddies/spectators need to pay an extra fee besides the $10 daily? Thanks!

John Minicuci   June 7, 2021 at 2:09am

Yes. Waitlist players and their caddies can play. There are no other fees to enter and watch.

Zach Sholty    June 5, 2021 at 6:27pm

Will there be any type of in person players meeting? If not will there be a place for check in? Don't see any info in the description or I missed it somehow haha. Thanks!
