Tim Barr   June 30, 2021 at 12:00am

I promised the pdga when we were awarded the event that we would have new tees and baskets.

Andrew Sweeton    June 29, 2021 at 5:00pm

The updated Divisional Doubles list of completed teams is available here: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/52401
If you registered for doubles and are not shown, it is because you either didn't list a partner, or you partner is not registered for Doubles and/or Master Worlds.

Big Dog I signed up for the long drive a couple weeks ago, but still not listed. Little help. Thanks

That's correct, Long Drive is the only Field Event that goes strictly by PDGA divisions, the other field events have ranges.

Sherry Herzog   July 7, 2021 at 5:08pm

Piggy backing on Billy Ray's comment, I signed up for the long drive in my division, but now I am with the 40 division? I am two years shy of 60 and can no way compete with the younger women in a long drive.

Andrew Sweeton   July 7, 2021 at 10:41pm

OK, I'll let the correct person know, may have just been a typo, thanks.

steve forostiak    June 23, 2021 at 1:59pm

I was able to sign up for over 50 age group, but now I am thinking that I can not. I was only invited to over 55 group which I could not sign up in time. I am not interested in being on the wait list for over 55.

Please let me know if I am valid for the over 50 age group. If not then I will pull out thank you for your time.

You can sign up for MP50. It opened last night at midnight for any invited player to register for any division they are eligible for, regardless of the division(s) they were invited for. See the registration schedule here: https://www.pdga.com/documents/2021-pdga-masters-worlds/2021-pdga-masters-worlds-registration-schedule

steve forostiak   June 23, 2021 at 2:25pm

Age wise I am eligible, but I was not sure about the required points for the over 50 group. I quess as long as I meet the age requirement I am good to go. Thanks.

Scotty Whitt    June 15, 2021 at 2:45am

Good Evening Andrew,
This is Scotty Whitt PDGA #9618, could you please look look into why I didn't get an invite as it seems I had enough points in 2019 and 2020? If you could let me know as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Andrew Sweeton   June 15, 2021 at 1:30pm

Scotty - for an MP40 invite you needed 420 pro points earned in 2020, but you only had 177. For an invite based on 2019, you needed 600 pro points earned, but had 122. You can still register when it opens to all players on June 30.

Jenny Umstead    June 13, 2021 at 3:55am

Is there a mixed doubles division or are we playing against the pro masters 40 men as mixed?

Roger...copy that...fun fun fun!!!!

Harvey Brandt   June 23, 2021 at 4:34pm

Noticed you dropped those cranky old folks (70+) into the 65+, but then dropped the 65+ (us) down into the 60+. Can't you leave those two pairs in the 65+ so they can have a true old folks mud tussle?

Andrew Sweeton   June 23, 2021 at 6:29pm

For now the teams go where they must or where they request if they wish to play in a younger division, I'm actually running a reconciliation on doubles now, so check back on it in an hour.

Vinnie miller    June 10, 2021 at 12:26pm

Hey big dig......thanjs for your management
Question:
Im listed as a player on DGscene, but not listed on PDGA.
How come.
Looking forward to privilege to compete on the Worlds stage

Andrew Sweeton   June 10, 2021 at 2:06pm

OK, I'll take a look and get it corrected, thanks for the heads up Vinnie. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Billy Ray Osborn    June 9, 2021 at 12:15pm

My doubles partner and I both signed up for doubles, but we're not showing in the list. Do we need to edit something for us to show? Billy Ray Osborn 40995 and Bobby Jones 3087, MP50. Thanks

Y'all come down to MP50 so we have someone to play with :)

Brock S    June 8, 2021 at 1:37am

Are there any video crews scheduled to be there? With that list of MP40 players, this looks like it could turn into some good content...

Eric Wilson    June 8, 2021 at 12:33am

Do I have to sign up for field events now or can I add registration?

Andrew Sweeton   June 8, 2021 at 1:29am

Yes, you need to add them before registration closes. Use the "Modify Registration for . . ." link in your confirmation email.

Steve Hollis    June 7, 2021 at 9:31pm

Thank you!

Cannot not understand why my name is not on the invite list. 15308, can you tell me way? I hope in not because could not play because of COVID.
Thanks

Andrew Sweeton   June 7, 2021 at 9:48pm

Invites are based on points earned the previous year (in this case 2 years due to COVID) but you didn't have the points needed. You needed either 60 points in 2019 (you had 24) or 42 points in 2020 (you had 0.)

Duane Spies   June 8, 2021 at 5:36pm

Thanks

Andrew Sweeton   June 8, 2021 at 6:03pm

You can still register when it opens to all Pro members on June 30th

Aaron Bernard Sr    June 6, 2021 at 1:47pm

I would like to be on the wait list for mp55 . If I don't get in I will play 50+

Andrew Sweeton   June 6, 2021 at 2:11pm

If you are invited for MP55 you can go ahead and register for it to get on the waitlist. We will then refund whichever one you end up not using.

Aaron Bernard Sr   June 6, 2021 at 8:49pm

Ok ,thanks

Brad Beeson    June 5, 2021 at 4:45pm

Stoked to get in! Can I please get on the waitlist for MP55? My 55th bday is Aug 4th :)

Andrew Sweeton   June 5, 2021 at 6:32pm

Brad - If you were invited for MP55, you can go ahead and register for it now.

Tim Keith    June 5, 2021 at 2:39pm

Can we go by the schedule you have posted? playing 60+ and wanting to come up for some practice rounds before the tourny.

Andrew Sweeton   June 5, 2021 at 4:05pm

yes, that is the intended schedule.

Tim Keith   June 5, 2021 at 9:24pm

thank you, and when will the courses be in tourny position?

Andrew Sweeton   June 6, 2021 at 1:37am

The TD will need to answer that. A minimum of four days prior to the event but likely to be more.

Joe Sofinowski    June 3, 2021 at 10:42pm

Big Dog,

Just in case I don’t get to tell you in person, I want to thank you for all you’ve done to get this event running. Having to wait an extra year could not have helped and certainly caused significantly more effort for you and your team.

I appreciate that effort and look forward to an amazing week of made putts and hit fairways, even if most of them will be in my dreams.

Thanks again,

Joe

Well said Joe!!

Andrew Sweeton   June 4, 2021 at 2:55pm

Thanks Joe, appreciate it, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again! But note that the majority of the heavy lifting has been done by the TDs Tim Barr & Chuck Connelly and their partner from the Johnson City Convention & Visitors Bureau, Gavin Andrews, they are the true work horses that will ensure you all have a great time.

Andrew Atwood    June 3, 2021 at 9:51am

So disappointing there are only 248 spots for the world championships. This should have been bigger.

James Mayehem Mayes    June 3, 2021 at 9:49am

The response to the tournament has been great, I doubt you guys expected these numbers. I've also read through the comments and understand that there are challenges, however given the response so far, are you exploring ways to expand the field? There was a post about lack of staffing limiting numbers, but isn't that a great opportunity for the PDGA to help the local team find more people!

Harvey Brandt    June 3, 2021 at 1:03am

Where and when will info on doubles teams be posted? Just one round planned?

Harvey Brandt   June 3, 2021 at 9:34pm

That does answer the where, what, and when of the actual doubles play, but what about posting of TEAMS that have signed up.

Michael Ynfante    June 2, 2021 at 10:22pm

What day and which course will doubles be played on? .Mp 50

Please me on the waiting list for 55 + . I will play 50 if no spot aren't available. Thanks

Tim Barr   June 3, 2021 at 12:34pm

Pdga handles all registration. I would send Andrew Sweeton an message.

Andrew Sweeton   June 3, 2021 at 4:43pm

Aaron - if you were invited to MP55, then you can go ahead and register for it to get on the waitlist. Then whichever division you don't play in will be refunded down the road..
