Hello All,

First, thank you for registering for the 2021 NYState Disc Golf Championships! Here's a quick update on the tournament:

- Tee Assignments for all pools/all rounds have been updated here.

- Course update: We are making progress, thank you for your patience. This has been one of the wettest Summers that I can remember and it's prevented us from getting the tractor and equipment around the courses. This has delayed the construction of a number of tee boxes. We ar ... more

Is there any group lodging or camping area? or players on their own to find a place to crash?

Pat Govang   July 12, 2021 at 2:37pm

With the advent of travel sites like Hotwire, I've found that group rates have become less effective personally. We hadn't planned on anything.

Will there be directional signage for the tournament? Just played both courses and got VERY lost at both of them. Definitely not courses you would ever want to play a tournament blind at. Highly recommend everyone play these at least once. Unless you're in MA 40.... Lol

Is it too late to get tickets to the HoF Banquet Friday night? And if not how/where can we get them?

Ooops one more from the same source - what does one wear to a HoF banquet? : )

Pat Govang   July 19, 2021 at 9:04pm

NY HOF - Bobby Jones, Steve Brinster and Paul Stephens; Yes, cash bar at VFW; It's Ithaca and at a VFW, we prefer you wear something.

Bryan Elsworth   July 19, 2021 at 9:50pm

Roger that, thanks Pat!

Is there still a spot for MP 55?
Thanks

The waitlist is not that deep at the moment. There's a good chance.

Carol Click    June 12, 2021 at 8:32pm

Do you have tee assignments available by division? I want to make sure I practice the right layouts.

Pat Govang   June 14, 2021 at 7:26pm

Hi Carol, not quite sure yet. But I would imagine you'll play 2 rounds of reds at TC3 and 1 round of orange at Danby.

Pat Govang   July 12, 2021 at 8:09pm

Tee assignments have been posted

Kaitlyn Clay    June 4, 2021 at 10:17pm

If I wanted to move from FA1 to FPO would I be put on the waitlist?

Pat Govang   June 10, 2021 at 10:50am

Hi Kaitlyn, no. Happy to move you if you like. Just let me know.

Kaitlyn Clay   June 10, 2021 at 3:47pm

Yes please I would like to move! Thank you !

So stoked!! Sky pilot baby!!!

Mike Herzog    May 14, 2021 at 11:06am

I'll try a new thread....why have two phases to register, if you eliminate the division before phase two? That makes zero sense.

Thanks for all you're doing Mike.

Pat Govang   May 14, 2021 at 12:53pm

The event description has been revised to clarify the above.

Mike Herzog   May 14, 2021 at 6:14pm

maybe there are two MJ10 that played this week in our new league...but if there are only 3 ina division, will the division be eliminated if there isnt a fourth?

Mike Herzog    May 14, 2021 at 11:04am

This app is garbage....ive posted twice and phone isn't showing it was posted....wtf

Mike Herzog   May 14, 2021 at 11:23am

Do you have an android or iPhone?

Mike Herzog   May 14, 2021 at 11:24am

Ahhh....just realized to reply I have use the keyboard cursor to post.

Mike Herzog    May 14, 2021 at 11:00am

An age protected division shouldn't have to move up unless at the time of tournament(last week before tee off) there arent at least three for a card. Are the open women going to have to play in men's division if they don't get 4?

Pat Govang   May 14, 2021 at 12:42pm

that wouldn't be 'applicable' in my book...

Drew Hopkins    May 3, 2021 at 4:11pm

Is it safe to assume that 2/3 of the registration will be reserved for phase 2 sign-ups?

Pat Govang   May 4, 2021 at 12:57pm

With all 48 divisions offered and 144 spots, there are only 3 spots available per division in phase I. Many will be on the waitlist, once the divisions are rationalized, as described, up to 144th on the waitlist will get in (if its that deep) at that time. If it's not that deep, any available spots will be open for the available divisions at that time

Marcia Focht    April 30, 2021 at 12:47am

Still looking for more variety with the women’s divisions

Pat Govang   April 30, 2021 at 1:32am

Pat Govang   April 30, 2021 at 9:08pm

All divisions are offered through May 18. Please encourage those seeking divisional variety to register prior to that date. Thanks!

Sherry Herzog    April 27, 2021 at 7:09pm

Hi Pat, do you also plan on having a pro master female division?

Pat Govang   April 27, 2021 at 7:23pm

Pat Govang   April 30, 2021 at 9:10pm
