$1000 3-Hole Cowbell CoEd Doubles Razz Round Playoff
Following the Pro tournament on Saturday, we will, as always, be holding the infamous and exciting winner-take-all 3-Hole Cowbell Razz Round Playoff. New this year, the format for the Razz Round will be Coed Doubles. The Top 4 male pros and Top 4 female pros in the tournament (MP50s are excluded as they play from the short tees in one round) will be paired up (Male1/Female4, Male2/Female3, Male3/Female2 & Male4/Female1) in the Razz Round and will select their caddies from the Male Pros and Female Pros who finish 5th & 6th in the tournament. The player/caddie teams will be designated as the Red Team, the Blue Team, the Green Team and the Yellow Team and each caddy will be given a colored vest that will correspond with his/her team's designated color. The Razz Round participants will play holes 16, 17 and 18 (and as many sudden death holes as possible to break any potential ties).
Before the Razz Round begins, spectators will choose which colored team they want to support and will be given a red, blue, green or yellow wristband and cowbell that will correspond with the team they are supporting. Spectators will have an opportunity, DURING PLAY, to yell, ring their cowbell and distract, to their heart's content, those players who they are not rooting for. The only rules here are that spectators may not place themselves between a thrower and the basket, must remain at least five feet away from a thrower, must remain at least three feet from the teepad and may not enter the putting circle. Other than that, anything and everything goes.
The winners of the Razz Round will collect $1000 AND the caddie for the winner will receive $100 AND spectators who root for the winning player can turn in their winning-colored wristband to collect a free disc as a prize!
Needless to say, you need to stick around for this exciting playoff if you can, if for no other reason than to try to win yourself the free disc!

For those coming over to Nantucket the morning of your tournament, please be aware that the ONLY ferry that will get you to the island in time for your tournament on either day is the 6:10 AM Hy-Line Fast Ferry. Free transportation to the course via private vehicles will be provided to those arriving on Nantucket on this ferry at 7:10 AM on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
For those wishing to bring their vehicle with them to Nantucket, please be aware that this is, unfortunately, very costly and difficult to do. To start, the Steamship Authority Slow Ferry is the only ferry that can accommodate passengers with vehicles. The cost to bring a vehicle to the island on this ferry is $400 round-trip during September and vehicle availability for weekends during this time is usually very limited, unless booked well in advance. All this said, we encourage those coming over to the tournament to leave their vehicles at the ferry lots in Hyannis and take either public transportation to the course/campsite/lodging or the tournament-provided free transportation from the Hy-Line ferry terminal to the course on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

- Maximum of 2 people per tent
- 15 spots available
- Saturday Night only for Pros
- Check-In is 10am on Friday & Check-Out is 9am on Saturday (on Saturday morning, you can bring your tent & belongings to Tournament Headquarters by teepad #16 and leave them there)
- In the side yard of a private home
- Campsite is a two-minute walk from the fairway of hole #6 at the course
- Primitive camping - a porta-potty, water hose and a grill will be provided
- No access to the home will be provided
- If all 15 tent spots for the Amateurs on Saturday Night don't sell out, any remaining spots for that night will be offered for sale to Pros 1 week before the tournament
- Street address for the home where the camping is located will be sent to campers no later than 1 week before the tournament
The hostel on island has closed permanently and, unfortunately, at this point, we have not been able to find anyone on island that can offer us a place to camp, so if you register for the tournament, please do so under the assumption that you will either a) be able to find and secure your own accommodations on island for the tournament or b) simply be coming over to the island the morning of your tournament on the 6:10 am Hy-Line ferry from Hyannis and returning to the mainland at the conclusion of the tournament.
There are unfortunately very few reasonably-priced accommodations available on the island in September (prices for hotel rooms start at about $300/night), however Nantucket Visitor Services (508-228-0925) might be able to help you locate a lower-cost option at a Bed & Breakfast. You can also check on prices and availability for many Nantucket Bed & Breakfasts at http://nantucketlodging.org. Finally, booking an island home on Airbnb or VRBO for a group might also be a relatively economical option.
There are some fairly reasonable lodging options available not only in Hyannis, but very close to the ferry terminals there, so staying in Hyannis the night before your tournament and walking over to the ferry terminal in the the morning might work well for some.
You can also join the Nantucket Huckers Facebook group and there is a chance you may be able to find a local there who could offer you lodging at their home.
Tournament Day Luggage Storage
Though Nantucket Disc Golf does not have a secure storage area at the course, you may leave your bags, camping equipment, and other personal items next to us at the tournament headquarters' tent next to teepad #16 during your tournament rounds and we'll do our best to look after it.
