I had a lost disc turned in on Sunday of the MAC at Heritage. I wasn't able to drive out to get it and they said they would all be taken to DD. I went on Tuesday and they had not been dropped off yet. Any idea on when the disc will be dropped off at DD? I leave for Ledgestone in a couple of days and would like to have it back before then. Thanks.

All discs have been turned into DD

If u sighn up for a division and now are over the rating for that division what needs to be done?
Or will you just take care of it?

Rob Adams   July 21, 2021 at 2:16am

If you have pre-registered, the TD may allow you to remain in that division as long as the event is within two weeks of the ratings posting date. If you did not pre-register before the new ratings were posted, then you are expected to play in the division (or higher) where your new rating now resides https://www.pdga.com/faq/ratings/new-ratings-now-above-cutoff

Yes

Jason Lefty Skirchak    July 19, 2021 at 1:57pm

Quick question Scott. Is hole 5 at Heritages in the A or B spot? The pin as of now is set at A 219 but then email has it in B248. Thanks

Scott Reek   July 19, 2021 at 2:12pm

All the baskets are in the correct position. #5 would be the 219 position

Will there be a players meeting this week?

Everything you will need to know will be sent via email. Your players meeting will happen when you check in for your tee time

Scott, not sure what is going on at Cedar Ridge, but holes 9, 10, 11 are being flooded by something being leaked or emptied from the pool. 10 was almost unplayable today because of the water.

Draining the water from the pool always impacts 9

Good Evening MAC Competitors,

We are just under a week from competition, so I would like to make sure everyone is prepared. You are receiving this email because you are registered to compete in the 2021 Midwest Amateur Championships/ If you have any questions, please let me know.

Layouts:
All the courses should be in the correct layout. I did make a few changes, specifically to Heritage, which are reflected in the Course Layouts in the pictures section. My plan is to physically mark t ... more

For the people that don’t have Facebook is there a way to look at the course layout? And when will it be set up by? Thanks!

Thanks

Scott, I noticed at WyCo that hole 3 is a par 4 and hole 4 is a par 3. Shouldn’t that be switched around?

It says ma40 isn't full but it put me on a waiting list. Will I get in to fill ma40 or no

David Phillips    July 16, 2021 at 7:39pm

Are the pools still set up the same as they were in April? Is MA40 still Pool B?

Zach Griffith    July 15, 2021 at 4:18am

I just requested withdrawal from MA1. Hopefully there's time for someone to fill my spot!

Shaun Maher    July 13, 2021 at 11:05pm

If I put myself on the wait list for ma2 what are the chances of getting in?

Shaun Maher   July 13, 2021 at 11:07pm

Or ma1?

Scott Reek   July 14, 2021 at 12:41pm

Its hard to say. Registration closes on friday, so people would have to drop in the next day or so. There will not be any additions after regsitration closes, even if there are spots available. You are welcome to register for the waitlist, worst case is you get a refund minus the dgscene fees

Dillon Spellman    July 13, 2021 at 1:14am

Will WyCo be roped up ala KCWO in years past?

Scott Reek   July 13, 2021 at 1:27am

Ot will have paint, not rope.

Phil Ellis    July 11, 2021 at 11:49pm

Question about Waitlist... My son is on the waitlist for the MJ15 division; he is the only registrant currently on the waitlist for that division, but he is #9 overall on the waitlist. To get in, would just 1 player currently registered for MJ15 have to drop, or do 9 other players across all divisions have to drop? (Or both?)

Ava Meyer   July 12, 2021 at 1:34am

He’d need a MJ15 to drop. Or he can play MJ18.

Phil Ellis   July 12, 2021 at 2:21am

Thanks Ava! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cory wilkes    July 11, 2021 at 6:42pm

My wife wants to sign up in Rec can she still do that or wait list?

Ava Meyer   July 12, 2021 at 1:33am

Looks like there are still 2 spots left!

Scott Reek   July 12, 2021 at 10:52am

She can sign up for Rec Women

What’s the best neutral place to find a good spot to put a camper? I think I saw Shawnee park was for non profit organizations only. Thanks!

The RV park on Johnson Dr. is $65 a night and the reviews a not great! That’s crazy! May as well pay for a hotel at that point.

Dillon Spellman   July 17, 2021 at 3:30am

The Bonner Springs Walmart and Cabela's are both in the area and allow overnight parking. Took an actual 30 seconds to look up. Not the TD's job to find you sleeping accomodations.

Rodney St. Gemme   July 17, 2021 at 5:53am

Cool thanks for the help. This is a forum to ask questions about the tournament. That was my QUESTION. Never said it was anyone’s job? Not sure where you got that. Lots of people playing live or have played there so I was just asking. Parking lots don’t have electric hookups by the way, I googled it.

Andy Anderson    July 4, 2021 at 4:12am

Any updates on the course layouts? I’m planning on playing SMP tomorrow and want to get an idea of what pin locations will be! No worries if you don’t have them finalized yet just thought id ask!
