Round 1, Saturday, May 15 – Condon Park 27 Holes with Tee Times
Round 2, Sunday, May 16 – Western Gateway Park 27 Holes with Tee Times
This will be our club’s 2021 membership tournament, open to all levels and ages. As of April 2021, our county only allows for professional disc golf events, so all division winners will receive a cash payout after the completion of 2 rounds. This is a non-sanctioned event, so receiving cash will not affect any amateur status with the PDGA, nor will these rounds be recorded by the PDGA. That said, no sandbagging. We know many of you and reserve the right to reassign players within divisions based on past performances/ratings.
Round 1: will be used to determine the bag tag number that we will give you on Sunday. Total birdie count will be used to break round 1 ties, followed by PDGA number if still tied. We are excited to introduce the community to Condon Park's newest 9 holes on this day.
Round 2: we will give each player their bag tag before teeing off in Penn Valley. You will play for tags only among your group, like a casual round. We will pay division winners based on overall scores from Saturday to Sunday. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place division winners will get a trophy too.
Registration will be $60 for the whole weekend, which includes club membership, bag tag, and the ability to win a portion of the overall cash payout. The club membership ultimately supports disc golf in our area, and also gets you a dollar off weeklies, moving forward for the year. Registration breakdown: $60 entrance fee = $40 to tournament/$20 to club membership.
If you want to be a member, but cannot play, please stop by tournament central on Sunday in Penn Valley. We are selling memberships for $20, which will include a bag tag and a $1 off weeklies for the year. We are only offering 150 tags this year, so don’t miss out!
If you register "Player Rating Unknown", we will help you determine the most appropriate division, after you complete your registration. You do not need to have a PDGA number to play. But please provide a PDGA number, if you have had one in the past (or currently)
** Players are allowed to register for divisions higher than their ratings, but not lower than the posted thresholds.
Due to COVID restrictions we will be encouraging all players to not hang out at the course for as much as possible, wear masks when necessary, and social distance as much as possible.
