About this tournament

Welcome back to our annual tournament to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank! Last year we smashed into the record books our all-time record high by over two Ben Franklins!

We raised: $1,858 and donated 600 lbs of food and supplies.

The food bank informed us this equated to about 9,290 meals to our neighbors facing food insecurity. We are aiming to meet or exceed that goal this year and we need your help to get there!

Pre-Register (sign up only - no money pre-reg) in the comments with name and PDGA# if you have one. Or send Benjamin Leskowat a Facebook message.

SCHEDULE
Day-of Registration/Check-in: 9:00 - 9:45 AM
Schenley Park Vietnam Veteran's Pavilion.
Players' Meeting: 9:45 AM - Veteran's Pavilion
Tee-Off 10 AM

Same Format as Last Year - "The Tundra 20"

Every player chooses 2 discs and plays one round from the RED TEES including two extra holes to make 20 holes total. Think ace race- short shots, run everything, lots of opportunities for hot scores and aces! We will play the holes continuously, with only an opportunity for a short break at the veterans pavilion as you rotate through with your group. This format will NOT be PDGA sanctioned.

Mulligans! We will also be selling mulligans (an opportunity to rethrow if you throw a bad shot). Since you're only playing with two discs you'll get a max 1 rethrow per hole (no running to get your thrown disc). These will sell for $2 each day of, max $40 to get one on each hole. All monies go to the Food Bank!

ENTRY FEE:
$20 for Adults
$10 Youths (under 18)
$30 Family

Deduct $1 off entry fee for each personal item such as soap or diapers (or non-perishable food items) donated. Please consider giving personal items as they are in greater demand than food.

Prizes for division winners (Open, Advanced, Intermediate, Women, Junior)

PLAYER PARTY- Stick around after for awards and putting competitions and fun. Also the completely unofficial round two that seems to happen every year.

PARKING- Please park on Overlook Drive ONLY

ACCEPTING PRIZES- Have some disc golf-related stuff you don't want? Have an interesting idea for a prize you can offer? I am accepting donations to raffle off for prizes.

Participants are encouraged to bring additional non-perishable food item donations as well as monetary donations to support the food bank.
*Additional contributions from friends, family and colleagues are encouraged but not required (send an email to [email redacted] if you would like a sponsorship form).
