Thank you everyone that came out to the Hoosier Hoser today. We had some beautiful weather and it seemed like most everyone had fun. A huge thank you goes out to everyone that helped make this event special! The volunteer staff was great! Make sure to pre-register for next year's Hoosier Hoser when we announce it. I am sure it will fill quickly like it did this year.

Just a reminder, tomorrow's Hoosier Hoser in Fort Wayne is FULL. I will NOT accept walk-up registrations. Both Swinney courses will be closed to everyone except Hoosier Hoser players tomorrow. All registered teams MUST check in tomorrow morning between 8:30 & 9:30 to let us know you are there. Don't be that team that checks in late and makes everyone wait for you.

For this weekends Hoosier Hoser in Fort Wayne, make sure that your team checks in Saturday morning between 8:30-9:30 at West Swinney. A short players meeting is at 9:45 at West. Flora & Lily's Mexican kitchen food truck will be there serving lunch. Our club will have some bottled water, but we encourage all of you to bring your own beverages. As part of the state mandate, please bring a mask. You must wear a mask to enter the merchandise tent and also when outdoors and unable to social ... more

Flora & Lily's Mexican kitchen food truck will be there serving lunch. Our club will have some bottled water, but we encourage all of you to bring your own beverages. As part of the state mandate, please bring a mask. You must wear a mask to enter the merchandise tent and also when outdoors and unable to social distance (within 6ft of someone). So please have it with you on the course. Also when entering the merchandise tent, we have plenty of hand sanitizer and are asking everyone to use some before handling the discs. Parking will be tough at West Swinney so we have volunteers helping people find locations that do not interfere with the tournament. Please follow their directions. Every hole has a CTP prize associated with it and the flags marking them will stay out at the holes all day.

Lately I have had a bunch of teams either switching partners, switching divisions, dropping out, or changing team names. That is fine, but I would like you all to figure all this out in the next couple days. I plan on setting up the boards for the courses soon and figuring out payouts. I don't want to have to keep changing things around. You should have had plenty of time by now to figure things out, I would hope.

I just posted in the pictures the course maps & OB for the SOLD OUT August 8th Hoosier Hoser Tourney at Swinney Park. Tourney headquarters will be at West Swinney. All teams must check in the morning of the event so we know you are there. The temp holes will not be marked until the week of the event. Baskets for the temp holes will not be out until the morning of the event.

Baskets for the temp holes will not be out until the morning of the event.

We will have the club's merchandise available for purchase, but in order to get into the tent, you must wear a mask including for AM cash out. We will limit the number of players in the tent at a time also. We will have some masks there, but I suggest you bring your own if you have one. Courtney Fassold will be in charge of the tent and merchandise area.

We will have Flora & Lily's Mexican Kitchen food truck there to serve you lunch, but we are trying to follow PDGA guidance by asking you to try to bring your own beverages for the day.

Parking will be at a premium. If you are able to carpool to the event, please try to do so. We will have staff helping people find parking at West Swinney.

Also new to the pictures are the hole specific CTPs. We will not only have a sweet CTP on every hole of the tournament, but we are also giving players 2 shots at the Cash CTP by dividing it and having one on each course.

Pre-registration will open back up at 7:00pm on Monday, June 8th for the Hoosier Hoser in Fort Wayne. Our parks dept asked me to let them know what precautions we plan on taking for the re-scheduled and re-located Hoosier Hoser Tournament. The tournament is now scheduled for Saturday, August 8th at West & East Swinney Park. Tourney central will be at West Swinney.

Our parks dept asked me to let them know what precautions we plan on taking for the re-scheduled and re-located Hoosier Hoser Tournament. The tournament is now scheduled for Saturday, August 8th at West & East Swinney Park. Tourney central will be at West Swinney.

-We are not offering "day of" walk up registration. Players will pre-register to get into this event. This will limit the exchange of money and line length to check in that day.

-We will pay out a smaller % of teams than normal. For example, we usually "cash out" around 40-45% of the Amateurs in the Recreational division. This year we will cash out 25-30% to limit the number of players gathering merchandise as their "payouts". We will still pay do 100% payout, just less spots will "cash". Those spots that cash will "cash" for more.

-We are capping the pre-registration at 230 players or else we could have 300+ show up.

-This event is known for it's generosity with having a CTP prize on every hole in the tournament. This year we will make each CTP "hole specific" rather than the melee that generally ensues when people select their CTP prizes.

-Extra holes will be added at East & West to help to spread out the competitors.

-We plan on limiting the number of people in the tent to purchase merchandise as well as during cash-outs.

-We also plan on attempting to have ONLY tournament staff handle the merchandise. Staff will help competitors find what they are looking for instead.

-We may try to add some type of online scoring, such as UDisc to limit scorecards being handled. -Looking into how we could possibly do a "virtual check in" as an option.

-Rather than our normal large water coolers, we will likely look into bottled waters on the course.

It is unfortunate, but we must postpone the 2020 Hoosier Hoser that was to take place at Shoaff Park on April 18th. We have chosen Saturday, August 8th as the new date and it will be at Swinney Park. Tourney headquarters will be at West Swinney. We will likely be setting up some temp holes on each Swinney course to accommodate all the players. Swinney was chosen because both pavilions at Shoaff on that date are rented and more than likely Shoaff will be overrun with other patrons in early August ... more

I'm having the same Issue as other going to have to withdraw this year wont be able to make it and I paid for both entries but cory black and I need to withdraw and it will only let me withdraw for myself.
