About this tournament
We're doin it again and this year it's Presented by Discraft!!! North Side Chain Gang and DGProShop, in coordination with Spring Valley Golf & Disc Golf, and this year the City of Conroe Convention and Visitors Bureau, are hosting your 2019 Texas States Disc Golf Championships!! The official dates are March 29-31, 2019 and it is again a PDGA A tier. All Ams will receive a stout player's pack valued a more than the required $25 and to date we've got $5000 added to the Pro Payout.
All Pros play 1 round per day, all 3 days, at Spring Valley on the SV Gold layout and Jomez Pro will be there to capture all the excitement. We've made a few 'tweaks' and improvements to the layout that was already well received during 2018. We think you'll like what we've done!! BUT, that's not all of the excitement being generated... ALL Am Divisions will play 3 total rounds -- 2 Shotgun start rounds on Saturday/1 Tee time round on Sunday. MA1 will play the well respected Northside Christian Church AND the SV Gold!! All other Ams will play the technically challenging Little Egypt DGC and the NEWLY REDESIGNED McDade Park DGC Championship layout!! The schedule is set to allow the Am field to finish up on Sunday in time to see the top Pro cards play their final round at SV.
A special hotel rate block has been set up with SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston The Woodlands for a $109/night rate. It's located perfectly in the middle of all 4 disc golf venues but we've also carefully crafted the schedule so that it is efficient for everyone. The hotel is super nice with lots of places to eat just around the corner AND we recommend staying with them because their hotel tax dollars are helping to underwrite Texas States.
