2019 Harvest Fields Huck-A-Thon
About this tournament
Last year we tested our endurance tackling all three area courses. This fall we’re focusing on one to raise money to complete upgrades to our beloved Harvest Fields Disc Golf Course. Find a partner, and prove you've got what it takes to tackle 40 holes at Harvest Fields in the same day. We're tacking on two holes to the regular layout, making it two rounds of 20.
40 holes of disc golf fun!
Price is $15 per person/$30 per doubles team. Registration cost goes to future upgrades at Harvest Fields.
We’ve secured some prizes for winning teams at this event as well as event, as well as CTP and longest drive prizes during your rounds!

Here are a few reminders as we get ready for the Harvest Fields Huck-A-Thon on Saturday…
1. Please check in at Harvest Fields between 9-9:20am. We have a lot of disc golf to play and need all teams to be on time to make the day flow smoothly. We also want to hook you up with your custom Huck-Koozie and Huck-Sticker (available for the first 50 registrants thanks to donations from Tricia Lafferty and Trinity Sports). As a reminder, the schedule is posted here and a mandatory players meeting will take place at 9:20am before tee-off.
2. Prepare for the elements - bring along some water, be prepared for some possible rain/snow, and be aware that the course will have wet spots due to the recent precipitation. Water resistant footwear is a good idea.
3. Pizza is provided during the lunch break in the Kayak Room at Calvary Church (see the attached map), as well as a disc exchange time. If you are able to chip in some money to cover cost, it can be given to Trish (she’ll be helping out there with the pizza waiting for you).
4. We will be playing with boundary rules of paved roads and parking lots as a local “hazard”. If your disc is in a hazard, it receives one penalty throw. The lie is not relocated but thrown from that location. Our guess is that this probably won’t happen with a doubles format on too many holes given that teams can always use the other player’s throw if it is not in a hazard. We have also added drop zones for the three ponds at Harvest Fields, again, these probably won’t need to be used with a doubles format.
5. Thanks to our generous sponsors (UDisc, Keystone Disc Golf, Tricia Lafferty, Infinite Discs, Anhyzer Designs, and Colten Gundlach), prizes will be awarded for the top three teams, as well as a “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin” throw-off after both rounds are complete. We have also designated four holes as "closest to the pin holes" and will share those with you at the player meeting. You will have two attempts at each one.
6. We have also added an optional $2 “Ace Pot” for participants. If you buy in to the Ace Pot, $1 will go into the Harvest Fields improvement fund, the other $1 will be added to the ace pot. This pot will be split by anyone who hits an ace during the two tournament rounds of 20 holes. If no players hit an ace during those rounds, the “Closest to the Pin” throw-off winner will also receive the ace pot in addition to their CTP prize.
6. UDisc is a free download and has the Huck-A-Thon tournament layout for our event if you would like to practice this layout beforehand. Baskets for our two temporary holes will be placed out during the day on Friday - https://udisc.com/
Happy throwing - please let us know if you have any questions!
See you on Saturday,
Ben & Davis.
