It’s that time of the year again, Georgia Club Championship! Mark your calendars for September 14th at J.P. Mosley!
Similar format to last year with a couple small changes. As before, clubs will submit a team of 8 players, 2 players from each of the following rating groups: Open, 925-901, 900-876, 875-below. Players with no PDGA rating history will play in the 925-901 group. Players may also play up a division. Players rating/grouping will be locked in at signup regardless of their rating at tournament time.
Round 1: original 18 layout of singles play. Player scores points for their club based out how they finish in their rating group. Side action/bounty for round 1 play.
Round 2: clubs will be seeded based on points accumulated from round 1. Each club will form a dubs team with the 2 players from each rating group and will play 3 holes against another club’s dubs team from the same rating group. The club with the overall lowest score will move on to the next round.
We will also have a long drive, accuracy, and putting contest!
$30 per player/$240 per club. Lunch will be provided and players pack will be announced later.
