"Build The Trophy And They Will Come"
I am ready to switch and lets see how many more are on board. We may even get some players who are not signed up yet. Jay maybe pick up some of the unfilled divisions. My date of birth 7/ 23 49. I am checking a couple of players I know who did not sign up. Come on 65 and over players lets do this. The PDGA created this division for us. Lets show it matters.

I e mailed Jay that I'm still good for MA65. We finish on my birthday (5-6-51) It would be good to have at least two full cards.

Jay Svitko    April 16, 2018 at 2:15pm

Gentlemen,

In listening to the vocal efforts of Gary Johnson, Fred Vocino, & Wes Steer to create a MA65+ division, how many of you would be moving to that field if it was made available?
I do not have your age information as it was not on the registration page. I would need you to reply to me ASAP, either by email or text. Trophies are currently being ordering and I would need to know quickly.

Anyone looking to split/share the rooming cost? Let me know trying to save some money.

I am still interested in MA 65. I think at least two cards would be good for me. Is the TD in line with the change? Jay, what are your thoughts on the MA 65 added division.
I did mention in earlier comment I will be Legend next year so MA 65 fits me to a tee.

Jay,
Is the MA65 Division a possibility or do you want to keep it MA60? I think we have 6 interested in MA65 so far. I was thinking of asking the group again to see if there are more but, if you'd rather not break it down I won't pursue it.

I would be interested in the MA 65 division if possible. More fun to get beat by one handful of people as compared to several handfuls of people.

In regards to the recent change in the pool/course assignments.....From the PDGA - "When forced with creating a course schedule that most closely aligns with the skill level of the players and the numbers in each division, attempting to provide the fairest and most competitive environment is paramount amidst the decision-making process. We apologize that you disagree with the course selection, but in consideration of the entire field, we had to do what we thought was best for the varied skill levels and large group sizes."

MA40 & FA50 are the only division not filling up. MA40 - 42/64 = 66%.....FA50 - 1/4 = 25%. All other are near max'ed out or overlimit. If you are on the fence about playing, registration closes on April 29th (Sunday) @ 5pm Central Time.

Circling back to the MA65 comments a few days ago. Anybody else interested in that Division? We have 3 so far.

I just went and looked at the registration - didn't see any in the MA65 division. Wanted to see who they were -

Lee Reading   April 6, 2018 at 12:56am

My birth year is 1950...I am looking forward to this event and am happy and willing to go with one big MA60+ or with a smaller and older group of MA65+.

I'm good for MA65. Perhaps two cards of that would be enough to make it a game?
