Grand Rapids Disc Golf Tour Event #3

$3 of every entry fee goes toward the Tour payouts at the end of the year!

The 2018 Freedom Memorial presented by Disc Baron will be held on Monday, May 28th at Brewer Park and Johnson Park. The tournament will include 2 rounds of 18 holes of play. Divisions MPO, FPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, FP40, MA1 will be paying both of their rounds at Brewer Park and divisions MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2, FA3, MA40, MA50, MA60, FA40 will be playing both of their rounds at Johnson Park.

Registration:

In honor of Memorial Day, any active duty personnel or veterans will receive $10 off their entry fees & Additional Free Players Pack Disc

1) Paid registration online or At Disc Baron (4485 Plainfield Ave NE Ste 206, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) - Credit/debit cards can be used to pay for the tournament but a 5% processing fee will be added.
2) Day of the event for an additional $5 fee


Format:

2 rounds of 18 holes singles


Ace Pool & 50/50 -

$3 Ace Pool & $2 50/20 will be available for entry - These will be separate at each course. IE - If someone at Johnson hits the an ace, they win only the Ace Pool for the Johnson course.

Divisions:

I can add any division by requested if it is not listed. There must be at least 3 participants to make a division. You can register for any division but if that division does not have enough participants to qualify, you will need to move to a qualifying division prior to play and additional fees may be required or refunded if the registration fees differ. Divisions added day of the event will not be eligible for a trophy. Womens and Juniors divisions do not need to meet the minimum


Prizes:

There will be prizes on most holes, including 2nd Closest Shot, CTPs and LPs. You must be present to win your CTP/LP prize. Each player will receive a raffle ticket with each hole prize for a chance to win a Innova Heropack Backpack Bag.


Zuca Raffle:

We will be giving away a brand new Zuca cart to one lucky winner. Every participant will receive 1 FREE RAFFLE TICKET with their paid entry. There will also be additional tickets available for sale, as well as several different prizes.


Payouts:

Payouts will be provided using the standard PDGA payout scale. Amateur payouts will be provided by Disc Baron in the form of coupons to Disc Baron retail or online store. Winners will have until 6/28/18 to redeem their coupons. Coupons must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.


Lunch:

Lunch will run approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes after the last card is turned in on your course. 2nd round start time will be rounded to the closest 15 minutes.


Refunds:

Refunds will be handled and processed in accordance with PDGA event standards.
