2018 Floral Park Ace Race

About this tournament
When:

Format:
Two rounds of 20 holes, one throw per hole per player.
Course layout:
Holes are generally between 99 and 250 fee.
Entry fee: $30 (US), up to $45 (non-US)
Player package:
All 2018 players received two identical Discraft prototype discs made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a lanyard, a premium disc golf towel, hat, and mini. All included with your entry fee!
Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards for round two, using the next line on the card to record the round.
The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.
Prize package:
2018 Prizes for each event include:
Grand Prize: Tournament backpack, SuperColor winners disc, towel and mini.
2nd Place: 3 discs, towel and mini.
3rd Place: 1 disc, towel and mini.
Large events (100+ players, ask your TD!) will also receive a CHAINSTAR Lite BASKET as an additional grand prize!

Contact the TD either by email or text, NO SIGN UPS WILL BE DONE ON DISC GOLF SCENE, this page is just to promote the event. All fees will be collected day of event. Sign ups can also be done at the sunday handicaps or thursday doubles. YOU HAVE TO CONTACT THE TD TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT, PLAYER PACKS WILL ONLY BE ORDERED FOR THE RESERVED PLAYERS!!!
