The Toboggan Randy has currently has Chainstar Pros. Black Locust will eventually have them too. Currently Black Locust has a mix, 31 Chainstar's and 5 Mach 3s.

The Short tee pads will NOT be in before the DGLO. Tee pad assignments for all divisions and both Pools will be available later on today.

No one in the tournament will be playing on natural tee pads.

So, are there short tees or not? The tee assignments have some divisions playing the short tees on the new course.

The nine existing holes before the new holes had short tee pads. The new nine holes will eventually have short tee pads but they will not be installed before the DGLO. Therefore, you will play all of the older 9 holes that have short tee pads and none of the new 9 that does not. I will post a scorecard in the Pictures tab Thursday afternoon of both courses that show the long and short tee pads.

Mike, I am not 100% but I think there was a hole on the original 9 that had only 1 tee pad. This might mean you have 10 holes with only 1 pad. I will post the scorecard Thursday afternoon when I am certain of what tee pads will be used.

Hey John, Thanks for all the hard work. This is a huge undertaking and I appreciate you giving it your best. That being said, I coming out tomorrow around 1-:00 to get some practice in. If I just play 36 holes (even if out of order)I will have played both courses. How is the signage? Being new, I'm not sure if there will be enough footpath to lead the way. Finally, are these courses Zuca friendly?

Hey John, the score card uploaded is pretty small so I’m having a hard time reading all the distances and pars. Can you please upload a bigger copy? It looks like for the “short layout” on the new course, it’s short tees on the old tees and long tees for the new holes. Is that correct? Tough to tell. Thanks!

The signage on the course is not permanent but as of now, all numbers and distances are in order and correct. I pushed my baby stroller cart through it and others used their Zucas. Very cart friendly.

I have no idea if they are at the booth already but since the course is open I would assume so. Also, if they do, they have the scorecards that reflect the short tee pads for the new nine holes. The one I posted was altered to reflect the new nine holes only having 1 tee pad.

Just played the new holes today. They are awesome. I played from the long pads that are already there. But I'm confused as to why the short pass won't be done by next week. I appreciate all that has been done but the fact that the holes weren't even playable until 2 weeks before the event and that there are supposed to be shorts on the new holes but won't get done before the event. All this time and it feels like it was rushed. Looks like this will be the only year that this event will be on the DGPT.

Jay, it would not make sense as an example, to have 40 AM3s playing on one course and 2 playing on the other.

Pools may be shuffled in the case more people sign up and get on the wait list. The down side if I move one division to the other pool is they will be playing the original 18 holes twice.

I didnt realize I was signing up for waitlist until it was too late & I was done. If anyones like me that will not fool with waitlist. I cant plan a tourny from the waitlist, so I usually dont bother.

Registration opened up on APRIL 8, 2018. The pools were almost full and decisions needed to be made. Those waiting until the last minute have no guarantees. I can move divisions in the other Pool but you will be playing a lesser course twice.

We can only fit 72 people on one course. This is not new, especially for Masters and Grandmasters who should be seasoned veterans playing A Tier tournaments.

When I told the guy running the check in he was telling people that it wasnt an option online. So I'm positive a bunch of people have been double charged. I'm thankful you will return the money to make it right but this may have happened to a lot of people.

My only recommendation is to show up in the moring at the Toboggan. If someone is a no show, you could get in. If you do not show, you have no chance whatsoever.

^!!! This should be a norm. I watched a group of 2 on the Toboggan spot for each other. They called it Shamed Spotting. In the winter, we call it Shovel of Shame. The last one who tee's off has to shovel the tee pads, lol. What may take an extra minute of walking saves a lot of extra time looking and saves lost disc penalty shots.

I really do not get it when groups throw on a difficult hole without spotting for each other. I myself will not throw on a hole until I get fellow players to go spot for not only is a lost disc a re-tee and strokes it is also losing a disc that you may really like. Please on these difficult holes have players on the card spot for each other and the 3 minute rule must be enforced for it is not a suggestion it is a rule and fellow players need to enforce a re-tee when disc are lost. However, a 250 foot walk down the hill and a 250 foot walk back up by other players on your card can avoid these lost disc situations. I strongly suggest if throwing in a group of 4 that you have 2 players throw and 2 players spot then swap with the spotters becoming the throwers and the throwers becoming the spotters and with 2 spotters in place disc will not be lost.
