2017 CDC Trilogy Challenge 3 Man Scramble
About this tournament
The 3 man scramble trilogy challenge is back! Last year was a great success and sold out and this year we are wanting to go bigger and better. This year we will have a Recreational division and an Advanced division to choose from based on your teams skill and we will again have a Single "mulley" Man division for the tournament. The event will be on June 10th @ Heritage Park. This will be a flex time event so your team can get as many rounds in as you want between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
Each Player's Buy in is $35 and each team member will receive an excellent player’s pack that includes:
Latitude 64 Opto River Pro (driver)
Westside Discs VIP Pine (midrange)
Dynamic Discs Prime Deputy (putter)
Trilogy Mini
Trilogy T-shirt
Scorecard and Pencil
Since this is a Trilogy Challenge you and your teammates will only be allowed to use the disc in the players pack in the event.
What is a 3 Man Scramble? It is a team event where you and 2 team members play together to get the best disc golf round. Each team member gets to throw then the team will pick the best disc lie and every member will throw their next shot from that position. It is just like a casual doubles game except you will have an extra team member.
Can I play if I don't have a Team? Absolutely! We have structured this where you can play as a single player. You will be a "Mulley Man". Basically you will be given 2 extra Mulley throws ( Do'overs) per hole. Essentially you will have 4 attempts to get a birdie.
The best round scored in Advanced division will win $90 in Trilogy disc vouchers and each member will win a custom stamp trophy disc and 1 other disc from the Trilogy family.
The best round scored in Recreational division will win 3 disc from the Trilogy family and each member will win a custom stamp trophy disc. There will also be payout for 2nd place and 3rd place rec teams.
The best round scored in the Single "mulley" Man division will win a Dynamic Disc Mini Basket and a custom stamp trophy disc.
We will have a bunch of other prizes like a Micro Basket, CTP Disc, and more...
