I've had a few people contact me about the lunch situation. Is lunch provided or should we pack a lunch? Thanks for all the work and time you guys and gals put into this tournament. We appreciate it.

We are providing lunch on Saturday and there will be food truck there on Sunday. Everyone will get an email today with a advance copy of the Program which will help answer a lot of questions

John Stewart   May 5, 2016 at 3:16pm

Thanks Mark.

If myself and my wife Ashley Morgan will not be able to attend this event due to a car accident. Is there anyway that we would receive a refund?

William Burbage   May 6, 2016 at 9:04am

I have processed their refund and with drawl... see you next event

Timothy McClory   May 14, 2016 at 7:27pm

Nice. I guess you have to be in a car accident. I asked for a refund on May 2nd, but didn't say why and didn't get one. And then got a player's pack with one GStar ROC. I'm glad that I could help finance your event.

Bill hello,
I am registered intermediate but I see a grand master spot open can I change? Thanks, DAVE

I'm thinking you mean Advanced Grandmasters.

David Smith   May 3, 2016 at 7:58am

Yes advanced grandmasters

William Burbage   May 6, 2016 at 9:05am

If not all pro spots get filled will you open those slots to people on wait list?

Mark Janssen   April 26, 2016 at 8:10am

We typically allocate division caps in order to better plan for the event. Using multiple courses the divisions that have "leftover" cap space don't always align with the divisions/courses that have extra people. When a division is under-registered by a full card we move those spots t ... more

All pads are concrete! Blue = Long pads, Red = Short pads
No carpet pads will be played during the Tournament.

Hello Mark and Bill,
Which tee pads will the Advanced Grand Masters play in this event?

Mark Janssen   April 25, 2016 at 10:36pm

most likely long sat and short sun

Luke R    April 25, 2016 at 1:07am

Can I not get on wait list for $5? Really have to pay the full amount?

William Burbage   April 25, 2016 at 10:31am

Thanks for pointing that out Luke. I verified the Waitlist on DiscGolfScene for the 2016 Jim Widdick Memorial is $5. This must be a new feature on DiscGolfScene, as we have been using this website for several years now, and it always full payment for Waitlist, no other option, so this must be new. ... more

Luke R   April 25, 2016 at 11:02am

Thanks Bill, that makes sense. If I am first on wait list for intermediate would I get spot if someone from that division dropped or would that just open spot for next person on wait list regardless of division?

William Burbage   April 25, 2016 at 3:57pm

The Division caps keep the WL spot to that division... .so if you are WL#1 in Intermediate MA2, only if someone in Intermediate Men drops then you get in.

Hello Bill
I sent you an email through the appropriate PDGA measures to ensure PDGA withdrawal and refund requests were valid. I have not gotten a response back after several days, and was wondering if my email went to your spam folder or something. Regardless, I still need to withdraw from the Orlando O 2016, and wanted to do it appropriately to ensure refund. Let me know if I need to do anything else to receive the refund. Thanks for your time.

Hi Craig, Yes I got your message and you have been withdrawn and refund processed. Sorry you will miss this year's Orlando Open. Cheers,

Randy Beers    March 22, 2016 at 6:28pm

Hello Bill
signed up for Orlando yesterday and meant to sign up for the Grand-masters not Masters.
Can you change this please?

Hi Randy,

William Burbage   March 22, 2016 at 6:02pm

You are now in MPG - Pro Grandmasters.

John Stewart    March 22, 2016 at 8:00am

Will the folks on the wait list have to wait until the day of to see if spots open up or will you open up spots as the event draws nearer? This is my first time dealing with the wait list issue so I'm treading into uncharted waters here. Thanks for everything you guys do.

William Burbage   March 22, 2016 at 7:53am

Good question John. The Waitlist system on DGScene is super easy, so the Waitlist is dynamic, so it will change over time. In order for someone to drop, they contact me (TD), and as soon as I drop them the next Waitlist for that division gets promoted and automatically notifiied they are in. Plus ... more

John Stewart   March 22, 2016 at 5:21pm

Thanks for the clarification Bill I appreciate it.

Eric Agrillo    March 18, 2016 at 6:20pm

Being trophy only, does the player pack include more than just a shirt?

Mark Janssen   March 18, 2016 at 10:43am

Absolutely, the players pack will be valued at more than the registration fee. As a heads up, most amateur divisions will be making the conversion over to trophy only in the coming years and events. It will work up the ranks from Rc to Intermediate and so on. Although, players packs will also get better allowing all participants to benefit.

Eric Agrillo   March 18, 2016 at 11:32am

Thanks. I agree we will be seeing more trophy only in the future which is fine.

joseph barnes    March 18, 2016 at 1:01am

Hey mark how many spots are going to be available for the open thanks

Mark Janssen   March 17, 2016 at 6:39pm

Mark Janssen   March 17, 2016 at 6:41pm

joseph barnes   March 17, 2016 at 7:33pm

Thats what i meant sorry im not that good to play in open lol well i cant sign up till tomorrow evening so hopefully there will still be spots thanks

Paulie Bagwell    March 17, 2016 at 8:07am

Will you be offering Am Legends?

Mark Janssen   March 17, 2016 at 12:53am

We had to choose between AM and Pro legend divisions and determined that the Pro side usually has more participants, so at this point no AM legend.

Scott Alexander    March 17, 2016 at 6:13am

Will Intermediate players be playing from the red tees? I know there was a plan on white tees going in at BFP/TLP (on T2 at least), but I haven't played the course in a few months and don't know the current status. Thanks!

whites will not be installed for Orlando Open. We hope to have them in by the SAC in September.

Scott Alexander   March 17, 2016 at 12:04am

Thanks Mark for the timely response. Also many thanks to you, Bill, and Daryl for all the work you do with the Orlando tournaments. I like that the Orlando Open is now 4 rounds (the more disc golf, the better), but I know it also means more work for all involved in running the tourney.

William Burbage   March 17, 2016 at 12:29pm

Thanks for the feedback Scott
