Photo Montage of the 2011 State Championship anyone? Would you like to assist in the project? Anyone & everyone can help.

I'd like to turn some of these captured memorize into a montage video. I would love to add other players and shutter bugs images and video in as well. If you link your photos and videos to the Tournament here on DGS and send me a message that it's OK to use your photos or video I will review all and include as many as possible with photo credit, to cover the event from as many angles as possible. I'll post the final video here and on YouTube.

I would love to have some help to identify players and events in the photos posted so I know I have them correct and even suggestions for some captions if the mood hit you. If you like a photo or video Vote for it and all the ones you like or feel helps capture the event as a whole. I will use the votes to help identify the images and videos that should be consider for inclusion into the the project. No promises of an Oscar award winning video but it should be fun and will help immortalized for posterity and provide a few laughs and smiles to those who want to see the people, players, staff and events that made up this amazing weekend and the 2011 Michigan State Disc Golf Championships.

If you have files but for some reason can't get them posted send me a message and we'll work something out to get them in.

Jeff - Speedy return of you bag and belongings. I'm still in disbelief that after all you have done and opening your home up to all the players that anyone would take your bag. I have been waiting to hear that it was all a mistake and the bag was someplace safe. Thanks for all you do. If I can help in any way please let me know. I'll be hoping the bag shows up and watching for them just in case.

I hope that this does not effect a select few from staying on your property. All of us from the tri city area really enjoy staying there and hope that next year we can do it again. I would love to get a hold of this piece of shit and break the knee caps of all involved. Thank you for a great weekend despite the ass clown or clowns that took your stuff.

Look for the disc's next week, Uncle Jeff and please dont let this person(s) ruin your dedication and love of disc golf or disc golfers. The vast majority of the people that read this will never truely understand but I am sure that 99% of the tournament directors out there at times really question themselves why they put themselves through all the hassles and stresses of running events be them large or small. Being a TD eats a chunk out of your personal life with the planning, preparation, & execution of tournaments, events, leagues. This is of course on top of a severe reduction in your playing time that comes along with it. You make these sacrifices for the game of disc golf and to allow other people to enjoy it.

When your MANY, MANY hours of efforts are betrayed in a manner like this, I know that I personally would really be questioning why I put myself through running a mini-Worlds every year...

Jeff I appreciate all of your efforts to further disc golf in the state of Michigan. I have never been able to play in the Finals but thank you none the less. I always come to help to be humbled at the scale of what is going on and how well it is done. Players will never understand fully what you do for them and what your efforts are providing for them on a local & statewide level.

They went into his home ((with his daughter there) to steel his and Gipes property.
God have mercy on the pieces that are left if Gipe finds him!

Great tournament. Brilliantly designed and smoothly executed. The tournament staff should be proud of how well it ran and how much fun was had by the players. It is amazing that on a holiday weekend we have Mason County Park and the pavilion basically to ourselves, almost like a private party. It is a perfect setting for a final 9 skins match, although we could use a public address system, if anyone has one we could borrow.

The thefts are disturbing, especially against host/TD Jeff Schwass. They are an insult to his efforts and generosity and contradict how appreciated and beloved he is to the rest of the Frisbeee Family. We should all buy Jeff a beer.
