1st Annual WMCP Open

About this tournament
The tournament is being held on the brand new course at West Mobile County Park on Leroy Stevens Rd. (some people may know it as softball city). Participants will play two rounds of 18 holes. The first round starts at 9:00 with the second round getting underway after a one hour break for lunch.
Payout is 100% for all divisions in merchandise. All money made is going to the Southside Smackdown and items like benches and grass seed on the new course.
Extras include: ring of fire, CTP's, raffles along with free raffles
Every player gets a disc of their choice when you check in. Discraft is doing a tournament stamp.
The work is ongoing to get it ready for the tournament. Sleeves were put into place this past weekend. We hope to have tee pads complete over the next few weeks. There is still a good bit of stumps and trees down to small sticks that have to be removed.
We want to give a shoutout to Commissioner Randall Dueitt for getting us the land and funds for baskets and concrete. I would also like to thank the multiple county workers, Lee Davison, Cory Mattas, Matthew Digman, Philip Tait and the Southside crew for working on the project.
