1st Annual Rock Creek Open

We're BAAAACCCKKKK! WATS DGC is excited to host the 1st Annual Rock Creek Open!!!

This event will be a one-day, two round event using a shotgun start format. Pros will be paid their winnings via PayPal and AMs will receive a players pack.

The registration fee includes course fees and PDGA fees as well as covers snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic during the event / alcoholic after Round 2) for all players from the clubhouse grill.

Registration will open for women before registration for men will open so that women have ample opportunity to make the field. We are an inclusive club which aims to promote womens' full participation in this sport. Any unsportsman-like acts or unwanted comments found to be harassing which are brought to the attention of the TD will result in immediate action to up and including disqualification from this event.

This course is a new design at Rock Creek golf course in Washington DC and can be found on UDisc. We received amazing feedback for the course that was temporarily available after the women's event in March. We hope this new layout is as enjoyable.

We have been granted special permission to hold this event here as a way to demonstrate the demand for this amazing new facility and hope to hold many more events in the coming months. Through these events, our hope is for the National Park Service to allow us to re-open for public play before summer 2024.
