1st Annual "King of the Wood"
About this tournament
Welcome to the 1st Annual "King of the Wood", hosted by United Disc Golf Foundation UDGF!!!
Location: The Wood aka Cottonwood Disc Golf Course
This is a non-sanctioned event
There will be two divisions only: Pro & Am with prize pools for the top three in both divisions
Pro Division:
1st Place: $1500
2nd Place: $500
3rd Place: $250
Am Division:
1st Place: $250
2nd Place: Customized basket
3rd Place: Black Hole MVP basket
Tournament Schedule
Saturday: October 14th
Check in 0700-0830
Optional Ace Pot – Bring $2, covers both rounds.
Players Meeting at 0900
Tee off 0930
Will break for lunch on your own
2nd round will start one hour after the last card is turned in from round one.
Award Ceremony will take place after the tournament.
CTP for ACE pool will take place while scores are being finalized
Meeting area is TBA
Directions to Cottonwood Creek Coming from I-25.
Take exit 149 East on Woodmen Rd. Drive 3 miles to Rangewood drive and take a right at the light (there is a walgreens on the right, this is where you will turn right). Drive 0.8 miles to Dublin Blvd and take a right (there is a YMCA on the right, this is where you will turn right). Take a right at the next light onto Montarbor Dr. The course is past the soccer fields and you will see it on the right.
Parking
Park along the street and in the parking lot next to the soccer fields
Tee Assignments
There will be one teepad for each hole.
Tournament board will show teepad group assignments

Paved Sidewalks and over
All other OBs will be tentative on course redesign
Tournament Mandatories
Tentative on course redesign
All water on the course, not over the sidewalk and into the creek this is OB, will be played as casual water, and your drop will be the last area that your disc was in play in reference to the basket.
2 meter rule will not be enforced
Hole by Hole OB will be posted after course redesign
Refunds
October 3rd thru October 13th: Contact us for a full refund minus 10% if we fill your spot from the waitlist.
If we are unable to fill your spot then you will receive a 25% refund.
If you are signed up to play, and do not show up in time for the tournament then you will not receive a refund. There will not be a late starting group. Be on time or you do not play and do not receive a refund.
Individuals on the waitlist who have paid, and do not get to play will receive a 100% refund.
There will be notifications and updates as the event approaches. Please continue to check weekly for any news in regards to the tournament and the course.
