1st Annual Discing a Hole in Hunger
About this tournament
On October 16, 2016 we will be hosting the first annual Discing a Hole in Hunger in Fort Dodge, Iowa. 100% of the proceeds with be going to D/SAOC to help fund their yearly food drive. Player entry is only $20. This tournament provides plenty of chances to win prizes and is friendly to all ages and levels of competition.
We are currently raising funds through sponsorships to help cover costs of prizes for the competitors as well as accepting donations of prizes (business T-Shirts, gift cards etc..), and also taking early pre-registrations. Tournament format is subject to change, right now we are going to play 18 holes with players of your choice depending on number of entries. Scores will then be reviewed and you will be placed into groups with similar scores for a 2nd round of 18. Best two round total wins. Registration is 10:30-11:30 with shotgun start at 12:00pm. A couple of the holes will also be prize holes(Long Drive, Closest to the Chains) with the opportunity to win more prizes.
First 50 players to register will recieve a custom stamped Innova Disc, trophies and more for top 3, and random discs/prizes for flighted results. More details to come.
