ONE DISC WONDER
Come on out to Oxbow Falls Disc Golf Course on December 1 to play a one disc wonder style tournament to raise money for a very special cause, the Everytown Survivor Network.
You will only be allowed to play with one disc for the whole tournament, so pick wisely! Traditional par scoring is the game. Use the same disc from the tee to the chains. The only requirement is that your disc is PDGA approved, so grab your old reliable, do it all, disc and get ready for a unique challenge!
We'll be playing one round of the front 9 holes.
Divisions will be determined closer to the event date based on the crowd we have signed up. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come play, beginners & pros, guys & gals, juniors & masters, rec & competitive!
If you'd like to try to improve your score, you'll be able to purchase unlimited redo rounds for $5 a piece. You may select a different disc for each redo round you play.
No player packs - all proceeds will be donated directly to Everytown Survivor Network!
This is a fun, unsanctioned, event with the goal to raise money. This is a very close and important cause to me, especially on this date in particular. We'll be out there on Dec 1 rain or shine.
SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER
We will have an excellent selection of disc golf auction items available to bid on at the event thanks to donations from Disc Store, OTB, Doomsday Discs, and more!
All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated directly to Everytown Survivor Network!
Everyone is welcome to participate in the auction, even if you don't plan to play in the tournament. So feel free to come hang out, have some food, and check out the auction and other fun activities we'll have going on!
ADDITIONAL INFO
Tournament central will be at the disc golf pavilion. You're welcome to hang out all day. We'll have some food and water, feel free to bring a dish or snacks to pass.
Plan to use the bathrooms at the upper baseball field as the disc golf bathrooms will be winterized and closed for the season.
The current prizes are expected to be a trophy for first place in each division. As more sponsors are gathered we may be able to prize out more places.
