A number of folks have asked about coverage videos from this past weekend's event. The footage with commentary should be start dropping by the middle of next week (Mar 20) on the YouTube channel "Great Courses of South Carolina." It's the same channel that the drone footage is one. Thanks to all those who asked!

Are the OBs essentially the same for both courses? Creek and about a foot off of it?

All OB is flagged on the courses except One spot on OG at the bottom of 14 still needs to be flagged today.

Is MA1, being in the B pool now, playing 16 gold from the shorts?

Bo Carlson   March 8, 2024 at 3:18am

In addition to the question being asked here, with MA2 being in A pool, do they play 16 long?

Stephen Scoggins   March 8, 2024 at 4:54am

All Pro, MA1, and MA40 will play hybrid + gold 16 on champ. All other divisions, regardless of pool, will play standard hybrid layout.

Ryan Ulmer    March 5, 2024 at 1:59am

Every Am who registers past #80 will receive an alternate players pack. They will receive an equal value voucher instead of the two discs. The rest stays the same.

Event preview videos for both Seneca Champ Hybrid and Shaver OG layouts have been added.

No matter what pools have which divisions, ALL pro divisions, MA1 and MA40 will play hybrid + 16 gold when they play the championship course. We may have to switch some divisions based on attendance. All other holes are same layout for all divisions all rounds.

Is it seneca championship course? Blues for pros and also a hybrid layout?

Ryan Ulmer   February 10, 2024 at 1:39pm

Every person in the event plays the hybrid layout the two rounds on Champ course. Only difference is MA1 + Pros play Gold teepad on hole 16. All other divisions play White tee pad on hole 16. The two rounds on OG course everyone plays the normal layout

Wendell Zeimet   February 10, 2024 at 2:57pm

I understand now. Thanks

Alex Baker    December 29, 2023 at 2:36am

I played the Blues layout yesterday and am thinking about playing this A tier. Could someone explain how the Gold Hybrid layout is different from the Blues layout?

Thanks Ben. Alex, this layout will be on UDisc also.

Alex Baker   December 31, 2023 at 12:17am

Thank you. Is it the same as the Champ Hybrid Layout? That's the one I used for a couple practice rounds. I see on the about page that 16 is from the "Long Tees". Is that the dirt patch behind the tee sign?

Ryan Ulmer   January 1, 2024 at 8:02pm

Hole 16 gold tee is guna be played by ma1 + all pro divisions. It is a concrete tee pad about 120 feet behind the white tee straight back.
