Icy Cold indeed !! had a blast !! Thanks to all involved.
The raffle was awesome, thank you Eggy. As soon as I walked in my front door, my daughter said "nice, can I have that". Then my wife walked in the room & said ooh can I have that. Of course I said not unless u plan to use it for disc golf - so it remains mine. LOL

What a day it was ice bowl for sure with temps about 0 with the wind chill didn't play my best but the raffle prizes were worth playing for . Thanks for everybody involved in making this great event happen.

Chili and firewood are good but most importantly this is a fund raising event to help support the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Bring your cash and canned goods donations. The more that is collected the happier you will make those less fortunate than you.

Early weather forecast says very cold, little to no precipitation, sunny skies.
If anyone visits Firefighters this week, wood collecting would be a bonus for a bonfire on the grill.
Busting down some picnic tables would also be helpful.

Why your Ice Bowl was the most fun, the weirdest, the hardest-to-play,
a strange or exotic format, etc.
Again featuring our chili cook-off, 9 pots of chili were
submitted/donated to feed and warm up the players between rounds. The
players voted for the winner, crowning Josh "Chef" Schulte as the
champion for the 3rd year in a row.

List people responsible for significant donations. (at least $100 or
100 lbs of food - and tell a bit about how they raised the donations)
Motor City Chain Gang raised $4500 by raffling off 20 Pavel Datsyuk
signed discs with his image and signed by him.
Derek Michilak $803 raised from friends and family.
Metro Detroit Disc Golf League $550 donated from 50/50 throughout 2015
season.
Double Tap putting league $180.
John Zane, Dan James $100 each.
Scott Burnham, teacher at Roberts Elementary, collected about 750 lbs
of food at his school.

If the weather was particularly memorable (such as wind speed,
precipitation type - snow, sleet, rain- ground conditions snow-packed,
slushy, icy etc.)
Raining early in the morning, but the temp dropped and snow fell
before the tournament began. About two inches of snow fell with strong
winds all day.
