Payouts for this event will be available on Monday. Sunday is my day off and I won't be working on this.

This is the first PDGA CEP event. I need to contact the PDGA on Monday to make sure that the report is correct, but in my initial calculation we raised $1,848 for the school. That definitely exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE EMAIL. WE ARE NOT HAVING AN OFFICIAL PLAYER MEETING…THIS EMAIL IS YOUR PLAYER MEETING.

THIS IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT:

THIS EVENT IS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY. NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, FIREARMS OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED.

DIVISIONS / DATES:

Everyone is playing one round on Saturday, October 14th. This is a flex start meaning you can tee off anytime between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Some have requested to play with certain players. As a flex start, you can play with whomever you want to as long as the group is 3, 4 or 5 players. Divisions can be mixed on a card. If you have no one to card up with, we will put you with another card.


PARKING -
There should be enough room to park in the school parking lots.

RESTROOMS

Do not plan on being able to use any restrooms at the school.

CHECK-IN

Check in with Perry Martin at Hole 1 prior to starting.

SCORING

We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system. (This is not Udisc). To access it, go to pdga.com/score. Enter in the password, then your last name or PDGA number, and the card will pull up. I will have paper scorecards as a backup. You can also use udisc as a backup. However, to submit the scores, it needs to be done through the PDGA scoring system.


If you haven’t used the PDGA scoring system, check in a little earlier and we’ll show you how to do it. It has a feel that is similar to udisc, but it’s a different system that exports scores directly to me and the PDGA site.

PLAYER PACKS

Only MA3 / FA3 / MA4 / FA4 / JUNIORS will receive a player pack disc. All other divisions will not receive a player pack but instead will have payouts redeemable at Maverick Disc Golf. The player pack discs are a mix of custom stamped discs from various past tournaments. They are:

WATER

There will be limited amount of water available at the course. Please bring enough water for yourself.


AWARDS / PAYOUTS

As this event is a fundraiser, formal trophies were not made. If you would like to receive a Blue Ribbon for first place, you can pick it up at Maverick starting on Monday.

PRO PAYOUTS can be either a check mailed to you to save fees, or via PayPal Goods and Services (winner pays fees) based on what you chose during registration. We prefer to pay with a check.

AM PAYOUTS can either be redeemed via our webstore, maverickdiscgolf.com or in person at our physical store in Olathe, KS at 600 E. Santa Fe St. Ste C. Online codes will not cover shipping.

All payout vouchers for all Maverick DG vended tournaments in 2023 expire 12/31/2023.

There is no payout for MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, & JUNIORS hence the player pack disc.

Unfortunately due to an installation issue with the school district, they are not going to be able to install the baskets until this summer. Therefore we will need to reschedule this event for the fall. We do not have a date set but likely will be October.

For those that have registered, I will leave your registration as is until we have a confirmed date for you to see if it works for you. If you wish to have a refund now, please let me know.
